Overview
A well known regular in Renton's nightclub scene, Eliza's masterful mixology and outdated fashion sense make her rather difficult to forget. An old school scene goth through and through, she can usually be found looking like she's stepped out of a fifth world emo show. She sports long, jewelry covered horns, candy colored piercings, checker patterned cyber eyes, and a heavily juryrigged cyberhand on her left arm (complete with a lighter and a dispenser for bitters!). She's currently working two jobs to pay off the massive debts accrued after the failure of the club she started with her partner Strobe.
Traits
Eliza, or Liz to her friends, is bubbly to the point of overbearing. Easy to excite, if people let her she'll go off endlessly about subjects she's interested in (Outdated scene music, taxidermy, etc.). She's generally very nice, even to people she doesn't actually like (years of bartending have given her a very good poker face), but when something does set her off she can be rather hot tempered. Liz, to put it bluntly, has terrible impulse control. She does drugs that she shouldn't do, steals things from work that she shouldn't have, and takes out loans from people she should steer far, far away from.
Aspects Description
Aspect | Description |
---|---|
Work, Bitch | Liz is in a lot of debt, and works two full time jobs in order to pay it off. Connection tests for this contact ignore loyalty, and any time they're called the GM rolls 1d6. If the dice lands on 3 or above, Eliza is at work and unable to perform active checks for people below loyalty 5. |
Short Attention Span | It's a common trope for the bartender to remember every average looking person who sits down for a beer. That isn't the case with Liz. If they don't catch her attention in some obnoxiously flashy way, her eyes glaze over and their name goes right through her brain. Liz takes a -4 to any networking checks made for people she'd consider boring (GM fiat). This typically means people with unremarkable appearances, muted personalities, and those who deliberately try to keep a low profile. |
On the Scene | Despite her bubbly demeanor, Liz knows how to tear it up in a mosh pit. They get +2 to any networking checks made within Seattle's punk and dance music scenes. |
Aura Reader | Liz is an aware, and makes a habit of reading the auras of people who catch their attention. When asked about an interesting person who came through their bar, they'll be able to give a vague overview of their emotional state. |
Master Mixologist | Drink slinging ain't just a job, it's an art. Liz gains +2 to any knowledge rolls relating to the art of bartending. |
Someone's Gotta Pay for the Drinks | What would a club be without a legion of corpkids with fake IDs? Liz gains +2 to networking checks relating to the fail children of powerful people. |
Amateur Taxidermist | Liz has a bit of a fascination with animal skeletons, and often uses them to create jewelry and artistic displays. They gain +2 to knowledge checks relating to the preservation or dating of dead bodies. |
