Overview

To the outside world, Hyena is Hakan Sadik, a kind man getting on in his years who runs a hookah lounge in Tacoma. He is a foster parent, gives full size candy bars to kids on Halloween, and volunteers at a local soup kitchen. It's all a front.

His main occupation is now fixing, but in the past Hyena was partly in charge of the growing Grey Wolves presence in Seattle, running the more violent aspects, assassination, protection rackets, the occasional kidnapping, etc. Rumor has it that his departure was under less than friendly terms, but questioning him on the topic is ill-advised. Out of view of the neighbors, his public, affable persona melts away, and he is utterly cold and humorless, the only thing readable from his face is the gleam in his eye at the prospect of nuyen, or the upturn of a corner of his mouth at the thought of another favor owed to him.
