The Meet

Pasiphae, Kera, Digifex and Trades are urged to meet the Johnson as fast as possible, for an impromptu meeting at a Turkish food truck in Tacoma. The J, a Proper Sized Businessman, revealed to be an agent for KRIME. Turns out, an high profile suite the night before was throwing a wild retirement party, that included flying above Seattle in his personal Krime Wing, in which he transported entire crates of Krime firearms he took as part of his severance package. The man got away safely, but left the jet behind, and so, the team is hired to recover it.

The Legwork

Digifex gets to matrix searching about informations on the whereabouts of the crashed plane, and finds out that in northern Puyallup a flash sale of KRIME merchandise is taking place, with the Skraacha having claimed a local warehouse to use as an auction house to quickly move the high volume of firearms. Meanwhile, the others made pretty good disguises, considering the possibility of posing as legitimate buyers

The Run

Hiding in Trades's van, the team got to do some reconnaissance work. At first, Trades herself sent in her flyspy inside the room where the auction took place, and finding out that the buyers were an heterogenous group, featuring multiple unaffiliated citizens, a few Halloweeners and some Cutters. Then, pushing forward, she found out that there was a junkyard past the room, and within that junkyard, multiple armed guards and the crashed plane.

Pasiphae used her extensive engineering knowledge to assess the damage, and determined that while one of the auxilliary propulsors was busted, the thing was still able to be operated, albeit with some difficulties.

Digifex's matrix scouting highlighted the presence of a rigger, controlling 6 rotodrones, arranged around the junkyard and the warehouse as makeshift security cams

Kera's astral scouting found out a shaman and multiple spirits bound to him, while not threatening in combat, they were still able to spot the many infected of the team and be generally annoying in case of stealth.

Pasiphae, the team's only trog, put on a disguise and went inside, posing as a buyer, all the while carrying Trades inside the backpack, and tried to get as close as the shaman as possible. Then, a combinated takedown took place, with Digifex using his resonance and sprites to cut the rigger entirely off the matrix, Kera using fear magic in the auctionhouse to cause a stampede as the buyers stormed out and the Skraacha moved in to secure the situation and Pasiphae taking advantage of the chaos to punch the shaman and thus removing the spirits form the equation.

Then, the plan was to have the minoutaur sneak in the junkyard and deliver Trades to the Krime Wing so that she'd jump in and fly away, but her stealth skills weren't up to the task, and the armed guards spotted her and combat ensued. After a firefight where Pasiphae charged forward and nonlethally took out goon after goon, and where the matrix specialists helped via calibrations and bricking opfor's cybereyes and smartguns, the team managed to defeat the first wave of enemies. Reinforcements were called, but they managed to jump inside the plane and get it flying before it became an issue.

They Kera pointed out that the most KRIME (used as an adjective here) thing they could do was flying this thing over the closest KRIME HQ, and so, they did. The plane was damaged, but through a combination of Trades skills and Pasiphae's engineering tips they managed to reach the outskirts of Bug City, whilst inadvertedly creating one hell of a publicity stunt, showcasing just how hardy the vehicle is

Trades

I didn't expect to find myself flying a fighter jet to Chicago, but I guess that's just what happens when KRIME hires you to do a job. Digifex seems like a decent sort. The job was kind of a mess, but I'm glad I had the tools to help stop any blow back from landing on the team.
