Background
175Y 8175Y doesn't remember much about who she used to be. Bits and pieces, like that she's pretty sure she grew up somewhere in Puyallup, but massive parts of her memory have been burned out of her brain after Ghost knows how long of being forced to run personafixes over and over. One thing she does know for sure, though is that she was held by the Kenran-kai against her will and turned into a bunraku puppet. Memory filters weaved into the p-fixes programming have, for better for worse, blurred many of the specifics, but there's still painfully clear flashes from instances where the programming failed. And the constant reminder that she had her identity stolen from her every time she looks in the mirror, having been modified to look like a near-perfect replica of J-Metal idol Angel Kurosawa.
She's not sure how long she spent "working" in her bunraku parlor, owned and operated by one Glen Kuzuhara, but that nightmare came to a sudden end when it was raided by a squad of Reality Hackers trying to fight back against the Yakuza. The gangers were ultimately repelled, but they managed to emancipate several of the women being held there.
With nowhere else to go, 175Y 8175Y hung around some of the gangers that liberated her and asked to be shown the ropes. She quickly proved to be a talented decker, possibly muscle memory left behind from her forgotten past life, and devoted herself towards proving herself to the gang that saved her. However, with only so much work being given to her as a new member of the gang, she looked towards contracting herself out to fund her newfound taste for exotic cyberware and quest for revenge against the Kenran-kai...
