Seeing as how he was on his last legs, he accepted their offer to join. For the next few years he ran as a common thug for the gang, though quickly it was realized he was equal in both brain and brawn when one of his suggestions was heard by the chief in that city. Immediately he was promoted to captain, and from there the rest was history. | |||
