The runners stop a mana warp in an area mining operation.
Background
The Meet
The runners get invited to a BBQ in Belleview by Danny Hoffman. And after eating (or waiting) they get told what their mission is. Ares has a mining outpost in the Cascade Mountains on a dragon line, where they want to dig for radical gold. The problem is that there have been a series of incidents, that have slowed down their progress, like missing trucks, killed personnel, faulty equipment. Ares suspects it to be sabotaged by either the locals or another corp, and it's the runners' job to find out what it is and if possible to stop it. Their reward for doing so will be 30k, which the runners accept.
