Overview

Mike Tunney used to have a bright future as a boxing coach and talent scout ahead of him. Sadly, in spite of having the chops needed and raising a few generations of fairly successful boxers, the people didn't get ahead due to lacking the money and corporate support to break it into the big leagues. This doesn't bother Mike much. These days, he's happy to go on long walks with Martha, his wife, see their daughter's grandkids on the weekends (typically just then) and rant about the kind of laziness too many young people display. If you want to curry favor with him, just show interest in sports and don't ever let him catch you slacking.

Anger Issues	Like many coaches, Mike wants to see results and easily gets worked up when his people perform poorly. If the team fails a run or doesn't fulfill all objectives, he refuses to assist them until they successfully complete a run without any goals skipped out on.
My Grandkids Were Visiting	The GM rolls a 1D6 in secret. If the roll is a one, Mike will not answer the call immediately. When he calls you later, he'll explain that he and Martha were busy babysitting their grandkids.
Boxing Coach	Mike has been a coach for decades now. While he didn't make it big, his former trainees respect him for a reason: he's really good at Leadership and Instruction (Unarmed Combat). If you want a sensei for either (including just Unarmed Combat), he's got you. He also receives +2 to Networking checks with the sportsmen he had trained in the past (GM discretion).
Sports Specialist	While boxing is his love other than Martha, Mike can tell you a good deal about all kinds of sports as well as their movers and shakers. Tests of the Sports or Sports History knowledge skills and Networking checks with other people in the business are done at +2.
Take a Walk	Mike is no stranger to sending his trainees all over Downtown Seattle for a different sense of the word "legwork" than most runners are used to. Once, he ran ahead of them. These days, he and his wife Martha take long walks all over Bitter Lake. Area Knowledge: Seattle (Downtown) tests are done at +2. If your Loyalty is at least 3, he can generally tell you much about businesses located there. Who knows, perhaps he and that café owner are buddies?
Athletics Ace	Yes, he's old. No, he didn't forget how to train the body. He can give you useful tips about athletics and even become a sensei for the skill group if desired.
Great Grandpa	Because he and his wife love their only daughter Josie to bits, they view grandchildren as a gift and a badge of honor. They're aware of many playgrounds, amusement parks etc. In Downtown Seattle, visiting with enough regularity to get access to perks. Nobody expects a runner to reduce heat by working a day job at the Evergreen Kingdom, but no one has to explain hiding in plain sight - if you have Loyalty 3 or better, as well as Notoriety not higher than Loyalty with Mike, he can pull the strings with an owner of a kiddie-friendly place to hire you part-time. Remember he vouches for you and won't tolerate big failures on the job!
