Summary

Adept hitman and sniper, on the run from the Yakuza

Goals

• Evade the Yakuza for as long as possible

• Get revenge against the Evo fucks who made and sold her, and the Mita-gumi fucks who bought and used her

Background

Reiko was born/created somewhere in an EVO lab in Neo-Tokyo as part of experiments with new types of bioware. She was one of the few test subjects to survive her first few years, with most of the others dying off due to complications with the enhancements. The only other survivor was a girl named Toki, who only managed to survive because none of the enhancements had any effect on her at all. Reiko seemed to like her though, so they kept her around too. Unsure what to do with the girls once the tests were over, they sold them off to the Mita-gumi syndicate, who trained Reiko into a good sniper, and an even better one once she awakened as an adept. After a while, the girls got tired of basically being slaves, so one night they took some money, slipped out and ran. Figuring they wouldn’t be very safe in Japan, they headed to the airport, caught a plane to Seattle and left the Yakuza behind. They’re almost certainly looking for her and Toki now, but at least the two have some temporary safety in the Haven.
