Summary
The runners deal with some possessed bears.
Background
A biological research mission in the Cascade Mountains was having problems with more aggressive than usual bears.
The Meet
The runners met up with Lara Melari on some camping chairs set up next to an offroad-modified lorry on the outskirts of Snohomish. Declining soycaf, they agreed to the price offered, and except for Bannerette accepted a lift in the lorry past border security. Someone was left to wait for Heavy Ordnance.
The runners were also told that the sole awakened with the research mission, an Aware, had reported that the bears' auras were strange, but that he was too busy running away to determine more
The Plan
The runners arrived to the base camp and started asking around, learning that a few of the researchers were missing, presumed eaten, and finding some tracks. Pell summoned a bear spirit.
The Run
The runners followed the tracks, finding four bears, two of them surrounded by crackling lightning. Heavy Ordnance laid down suppressive fire as Jane charged in, Bannerette laying down fire support and Pell providing leadership as her spirit T-posed to assert dominance over the bears.
They incapacitated with little damage, then heard a large roar off in the distance. This turned out to be a very big bear spirit, who gave a lot of trouble before being banished by Pell.
Aftermath
The runners returned to the base camp, the researchers picked up the incapacitated bears, and the runners got paid. Bannerette was somewhat sad about fighting Sir Cuddle's kin.

Horn bear attacks? In the Cascade mountains? More likely than you'd think.
Anyway, that spirit seemed like it wanted to go home, somehow.
