Summary
The Runners clean a cave of nanobots and their new owners with war criminal gas.
Background
Alfred Bester is responsible for covering the tracks of a lost nanoware prototype. He hires runners to find out where the lost containers with the prototype have gone and they are then to remove the traces.
The Meet
The Runners all arrive on time for the meeting at an office complex. Hextech checks the area with a drone. The J is waiting for them in his office and explains that the Runners have to disarm a stolen prototype. He can then provide Runners with the container number, but they will have to get more information themselves.
The Plan
Heracles tries to hack into the Haven's host to determine the container's whereabouts. He receives Technomancer support from Hextech. After some back and forth Heracles manages to steal the file but is hit by a data bomb and is generally not in good shape after his trip into the matrix. The team now has coordinates and Hextech sends a drone to a W zone in Snohomish. It allows the team to observe via the drone. Shy additionally observes on site. The coordinates are an old cave system. It looks like the thieves are doing research with the prototype. The team decides to bomb the thieves' cars with war criminal gas and drive into the cave to cause as much damage as possible. The team waits at the cave entrance to make sure no one escapes.
The Run
Hextech successfully steers the prepared car into the cave and explodes it. Three guards and an air spirit escape and confront the runners. In the ensuing fight Heracles is seriously injured and pulled out of the line of fire by Red Flower. Sky and Kate manage to overpower the attackers with a machine gun and a sniper rifle while Hextech Matrix provides support.
