Overview
Like her brother Jack, Charlotte grew up a poor kid in Redmond. She was bright, determined to work hard and get out of the Barrens the right way. Keeping her nose clean, studying hard, and doing her damnedest to keep her brother out of trouble, it eventually paid off. Winning a hefty scholarship at the University of Washington after passing the necessary testing with flying colors, Charlotte had her way out. As did Jack, who she convinced with great effort to also apply for the scholarship program.
Throwing herself into studying law, Charlotte was a star student that quickly caught the attention of corporate recruiters. Unfortunately her brother didn't join her at graduation, having been expelled for selling drugs on campus made using stolen lab equipment. Attracted by the corp's environmentalist leanings after growing up in the Barrens' polluted environs, she accepted a position in Gaeatronics legal department and has been there ever since, slowly working her way up the ladder.
Tragically, Charlotte is still fiercely protective of her brother despite his terrible decisions, and remains vulnerable to being pulled into his problems and schemes. It hasn't cost Charlotte her new position in life yet, but maybe one day.
