Overview

Daisuke Watanabe is a second-generation Japanese immigrant who works for Shiawase. Originally from Washington D.C., him, his wife Daisy, and his daughter Marigold, moved to Seattle at Shiawase's whim— partially to look for expansion into Seattle territory, but also to investigate the radiation storm in Redmond. He is often a cold, stern individual when it comes to logistics and diplomacy. When it comes to his family, however, he is almost embarrassedly soft-hearted and protective. As obvious for his corporation, he practices Shintoism and occasionally likes to meditate to calming piano music.

Climbed Up the Ladder	Daisuke has had an extensive career within Shiawase, and can pull some big strings if the situation is dire enough. At the cost of a chip, Daisuke can contact the higher-ups of Shiawase to aide the party.
Nuclear Engineering Knowledge	Before he was a manager, Daisuke was a nuclear engineer. He gains a +2 dice pool bonus to knowledge checks surrounding radiation and nuclear engineering-related topics.
Loan Shark	Daisuke has a lot of money thanks to his career, and knows how to get it back. Daisuke can loan a great sum of nuyen for a run, but the runner must pay it back before an established mode of time. If you fail to pay it back, you lose him as a contact, and to the GM's discretion he may send grunts your way.
Shiawase Peddler	Daisuke has connections within the corporation, that allows him to provide equipment in their name. Run rewards can include Shiawase-branded equipment up to Availability 15.
