Overview

Efim Amirov is the second in command of the Povryejhda Syndicate, the Red Vory group that wiped out the White Vorys of the city. Having helped take control for his fellow Russians, Efim went hard to work creating new revenue streams for his syndicate.

Aspect	Description
A Matter of Respect	Efim has a very specific way he expects things to be done, and for people to behave. A smart runner will behave accordingly. Any interaction with Efim or gear acquisition request requires an Etiquette Test (1) to conduct business. If an Etiquette roll fails, a player must pay to make amends. If they have a critical glitch, they can only redeem themselves with the contact with a private run.
Russian Only	Efim has his goons to run the low-levels of his operation with the locals which is great, because he will only conduct business in Russian. Contacts with Loyalty 5+, he’ll care enough to speak in (somewhat broken) English.
Fear the Suka	Efim is a thief with honor but he cannot rely on those around him to be the same. Afraid of bringing a suka into his close confidence, characters will have to take a run to raise Loyalty above 2 and Loyalty can only be raised by one point at a time.
Import/Export	Efim makes his personal (and his Vory syndicate’s) fortune as a prominent cross-Pacific black marketeer. Moving restricted gear and forbidden gear is Efim’s livelihood. (+2 to all checks to acquire physical gear)
Shipping Containers	Efim has contacts with the largest shipping companies in the Pacific and can usually ship large items under the radar. Any ground craft that can be delivered via shipping container, Efim can bring to port. (+2 to all checks involving ground craft)
The Vory Keep The Best Cars For Themselves (But Not Efim)	Russian mobsters might love to show off with the finest of bling and vehicles, but Efim knows that luxury vehicles are where the good nuyen is at. Efim has carjacking teams working day and night to bring him luxury vehicles and for a price, he can send something your way. (+2 to all checks involving vehicles ¥40,000 and up.)
Security Has A Price	Efim knows the importance of high-end security vehicles. You need to have the right tools for the right job. (+2 to all checks involving security/police/military vehicles.)
GUNS! GUNS! GUNS!	Efim makes most of his syndicate’s share of nuyen as an arms dealer in conflict zones within the International Vory sphere of influence, but sometimes a few pieces are left behind. Or he’ll crack open a case for you the next time a shipment comes through. (+2 to all checks involving firearms and ammunition.)
Mother Russia	Efim works extra hard when the merchandise is of Russian manufacture or origin. It might be silly to you, but Efim takes pride in Russian industry and design. (+2 on all checks involving Russian made goods (or goods of Russian origin).)
It’s No MiG, But…	Efim deals in planes. He doesn’t move a lot of them but hey, they’re big ticket items and he knows his trade. (+2 on all checks involving aircraft)
Armor Up	Efim knows the value of a good bullet, but knows even more the value of stopping one. Efim trades in armors of all kinds, from the lowly armor jacket on up. (+2 on all checks involving armor)
You Like The Fit?	Efim trades in specialty armors, and has a fellow with a fashion degree and tight lips who can fit the finest pieces of ballistic protection to the wearer. (+2 on all checks involving specialty armors and custom fit pieces)
Upgrade Time	Efim’s tailor is a real pro, and he can upgrade armor like nobody’s business. His man can’t guarantee his armors will keep you alive, but he can guarantee that you’ll look sharp in death. (+2 on all checks involving armor upgrades)
