Character Information

Summary

A Bovine Shifter that used to watch King Beef during his boxing career through the farmhouse window before his owners knew that he wasn't a normal ol' cow. Now with the death of the King the Kid is planning to rise up to take the mantle of Seattle's Toughest Boxer.

Goals

To continue gaining skills necessary to assimilate into Metahuman Society as well as to eventually go through with the process and find out if Shifters are allowed to fight in the Seattle, Corp, or even Global Boxing Circuits.

Background

Billy was as all shifter's are born to a a loving bovine mother that always cared for him, even when grazing grounds were sparse he was always fed. And much like metahuman children it took him a few years to realize that he was aware and a couple longer to realize that his mother and siblings lacked the same awareness that he had, but that was no issue as his brothers and sisters were always affectionate with both him and each other so he did not go wanting for love and comfort. As his youth went on he listened to the farmers that cared for his family and did his best to learn from them, this left him a little lacking but he was eventually able to learn a fair deal about metahuman society and most importantly speech but with a somewhat lacking vocabulary. This was later remedied when he spotted a couple of the farm hands on break watching what he would later find out were called "Trids." The trids they usually watched were about people getting inside of "vehicles" which were like the farm hands tractors but a lot faster. Though sometimes they watched trids of these huge people, way bigger than any of the workers here, fighting each other inside of a square and surrounded by people and lights, these were Kid's favorites especially when one of the fighters named "King Beef" was fighting. He watched him win fight after fight for a few years and learned a lot of new words over that time, but eventually King Beef lost and then didn't show up at fights anymore. Not knowing what happened to his idol Kid stole one of the commlinks that a farmhand had left behind on his break one day and finally go to put some of what he had learned to use trying to find out what happened to King. For quite a few years there was no sign of him and Kid, dreaming of one day finding him and joining him in the ring started practicing being both a metahuman and a fighter, hoping one day his idol would reappear triumphant in the ring. But that day never came, in fact around his 21st birthday he finally found some information on King Beef, he was a criminal now and a very dangerous one. Something had happened and he was killing all kinds of people but Kid didn't mind, he was just showing the world how tough he was. Then near his 22nd birthday while he was browsing the matrix and grazing he saw a news report that King Beef had caught Mad Cow Disease and was rampaging through Seattle destroying buildings and killing people. There was all kinds of chaos and at the end of it someone killed him, Kid was sad for a few days, his idol died before he was ever able to reclaim his boxing title. However this very fact was what spurned Kid into the shadows, if the King couldn't get his title then maybe Kid could get it, for the both of them. And when he had it Kid could prove he was the strongest being in Seattle.
