Background
The N-51 is supposed to do a great job during the Rad Wars to keep their IMA status, so they are kinda getting audacious on their action, during part of the movement the N-51 is finding themself a bit low on manpower but need some help to organize a push against a small village.
The Meet
The team is received at the N-51 Outpost in Seattle, the Lieutenant-Colonel Mazarin is the one holding the negotiation, he expose the whole thing to the runners, they'll get to the SOX to serve as an AMX-10 RC crew and help an operation against a village that is an objective of the N-51 team to get points. After negotiating on the reward and asking the usual questions, the team decide to accept the job and are transported with N-51 troops up Fort Lewis then to France, then to the SOX.
Down there the team meet Shy who again serve as liaison officer (since she also is an offcier of the unit that will lead the assault.) She offer more recent intel and help the runners settle in the camp. With all of this the runners also take time to Juryrig the century old tank to work with Control Rig and to give the ability to Nu11st@ck to jump in the turret. Gigabite also negotiate an artillery strike from the UCAS and the N-51 offer air support assest to support the assault .Those modification done, the team can finally drive to the combat zone as dawn come by.
The Run
After reaching the frontline, the team spend an hour to make the last moment preparation and recon as the troops get ready and in position for the assault. At 8 AM right after sunrise, the assault begin and the tank of the team is rolling. Gigabite immediately call for a first artillery strike on the position of the 1st platoon of Rurhmetall who get hit by White Phosphorous round. This strike kinda give an edge to the team that can start their flanking manoeuvers in tandem with the other tank unit involved. Not losing much time the team tries to get to their objective who are the mortars used by the Rurhmetall troops to try to stop the N-51 attack. But as the team is driving there, two light tanks emerge from the village and engage the AMX.
Under the leadership of Gigabite, Chofèr, Nu11st@ck and Thunder manage to quickly overcome the ennemy armor, Thunder also got some time to shoot at antitank soldiers that try flank the tank and Gigabite command center. With that threat dispatched the team progress toward their objective and destroy their mortar team. While the mechanized platoons of Rurhmetall were falling back as a result of that assault under the fire of the N-51 Close Air Support aircraft, they also quickly mounted a counter attack with the help of a reserve Mechanized Infantry Company. As for the team they got saved by Nu11st@ck sixth sense of combat as he felt something was off.
Indeed the tank of the team was right in the sight of a Rurhmetall Leopard 4, a modern MBT tank, despite the heavy difference in gear, the team decided to goes on a fight and after a long and difficult struggle, Gigabite's leadership, Thunder constant attack on the tank to draw attention, Chofèr piloting skill and Nu11st@ck aiming eventually led to the Leopard being put out of combat. The sight not only cheered the N-51 troops but also broke the Rurhmetall moral especially after the N-51 engaged a mechanized infantry platoon that was kept in reserve.
Aftermath
Victory was clear, and after holding the ground for the whole morning, the team was relieved alongisde other part of the Paratroopers company. Back at Montigny les Metz they got received by Commander and le Bourguinion, who congratulate them and give them the payments they deserve for such a deed.
Amongst the N-51 troopers though the runners became Legend for that tank fight and surely the footage would be shown by Demeko.

The Rad Wars!!!
I expected to sit in a tin-can for a few days and sweat while the others would do their matrix and rigging things. It turned out differently. I got to use my bow and explosive arrows to damage a tank and take out some anti-tank troops. Learned a lot about small unit tactics thanks to our leader.
We even took out a modern tank with our century old tin-can. How amazing!
I feel that I might become a trid-reality-star. I got to wear my Bugstomper, no questions asked. A couple of stares, but no glares. Treated with high dignity and respect - even by humans. Felt like a super-star mercenary. What a feeling!! Humans not only respected me but looked at my team mates and me with something that might have been awe while Commander praised us in the de-briefing. I still have the footage and my feelings collected by the Responsive Interface Gear to go back to and enjoy on a rainy day.
I've gotta be careful.
The life in the army has potential to become an addiction.
Nu11st@ck "Well, rad wars is rad.... No other way to state it. It's going to be a long month in this wasteland but the pay is incredible and I just took out 2 or 3 deckers and 3 takes with a 100 year old antique talk about a fragging flex. Even picked up some tips on making this old crap work with our modern tech. Spectacular if not a bit scary of a day. Props to Chofer, that lady managed to keep us save and my respect goes out to her.
