Summary
SK hires some runner to find the source of the highsea attack against foreign ship that are getting blamed on the their back.
Background
Over the coast of Normandy a strange ailment is present, in the magical mist flowing over the lands, people are telling tale of ghost from the Second World War, German and American soldiers alive attacking anyone as if the war was still raging on. The phenomenom seemingly extended as the mist developped itself. After the Normandy's landing echo it seemed that the water of the Atlantic are threatened by an U-Boat once again.
The Meet
The meeting was held in Seattle, the team met a regular Johnson of SK who offered 30k nuyens to uncover the true reason beyond the attack and therefore clean the slate of SK on the matter as they'll deal with the problem themself. Satisfied with the proposal the team accept and is sent to New York to board a ship that will travel to Brest where they'll meet with some locals agent who gathered a bunch of baseline information for their investigation.
The Run
After a brief flight to New York, the team board a freighter ship and is starting a ten day trip to New York, with Reign having to cash in favor from her hierarchy at Doc Wagon to get some holidays and make it to the run without losing her job, the first ten days at sea are quite boring and uneventful overall.
On the tenth's day however as sun goes down, Intercession who was hanging out on the bridge noticed a strange metalic glimmer in the ocean, a periscope. And he noticed it too late, two huge explosion were heard shaking the whole ship, the team quickly scrambled and soon enough the rest of the crew told them that the ship was sure to sink, however as everyone got ready to evacuate, the captain of the ship realized that two of his crew weren't around, one of them was the machinist and one of the torpedoes hit nearby, worried he ask the team to bring them out of the hot water.
After a run in the corridor that were filling with water, the team realized that the access to the engine room was flooded and Intercession had to take a couple of swim to evacuate the two crewman, the machinist who was wounded, and one of his friend who got blocked by the rising water why he helped his friend. Soon enough they would be on the bridge again and quickly got in the evacuation canoe, in record time the ship they were in sunk.
All went silent then as night felt, waiting for the coast guard to pick them up, the shipwrecked soon started to hear the rumbling of a diesel engine, something quite uncommon for a modern submarine, and through astral and mundane mean of perception, they would eventually notice a silhouette roaming around. It wasn't the silhouette of a modern submarine and they could notice marking on the hull "U-782" and "Leïse und Todlich". A quick check on the matrix seemingly indicated that they were observing a genuine Type VII-C, the workhouse of the Unterseeboote during the Battle of the Atlantic. But Newt saw something more deep, the crew of the boat were spirit, phamtoms of German Sailors, and the ship itself was a vehicle spirit.
However their observation were cut short as in the distance the helicopter of the coast guard could be heard and the U-782 made an emergency dive disappearing under the water. The team was then rescued and brought to Brest to be debrief, once this was done, they rented an hotel room and pursued their investigation through archives and magical theory, managed to comfirmed the ties between the Ghost ship and the ghost phonomenom in France, they also digged on the ship itself learned the U-782 was sunk in the channel in June 1944.
Aftermath
The team however felt they weren't really paid to deal with this matter, after all they just had to uncover the threat lurking under the sea, and they figured it all out. After sending all the information to SK, they got their payment and learned sometimes later than an SK team managed to sink the ghost ship, although...Nothing could say if it was definitive or not.

Narrative Consequence :
-The ghost U-782 is sank and will go dormant for a while, eventually reappearing later on and resuming it's attack.
-The issue is made more public thank to SK intervention.
-The High Council of Brittany begin to investigate more thoroughly the issues of ghost roaming around.
