Overview

The U-782 was a type VII-C U-Boat commissioned by the Kriegsmarine in 1942. The Kapitan-Leutenant Ulrich du Mesnil an already seasoned commander and his crew eventually got assigned to it and accomplished many patrols during the second Happy Time, eventually surviving as the Allies reinforced their anti-submarine capability.

In June 1944 the U-782 was part of a last ditch effort to hinder the Normandy Landing, a suicide mission who brought the crew and the submarine to their demise.

Decades later though, the mist of Britany and the phamtomatic echoes of the landing themselves, brought back the submarine and it's crew back, after some months of hunting ship like they were ordered to do, the intervention of runners led them to be able to liberate themselves from their chain and they know roam freely on the seas and oceans. Offering service.

GM Notes

-The U-782 is a vehicle spirit, capable of hiding himself quite well, he exist in harmony with his ghost crew and his mostly passive, following their orders.

-The Ghost Crew is composed of around forty crewmen composed of Task Spirit, Spirit of Man & Guardian Spirit depending of their role in crew, they are of some little force aside from Ulrich du Mesnil and a few officer/important person on board who are on the higher scale. (Ulrich being the highest at 8)

-To contact the U-782 one can hold a memento of the crew and broadcast a message in the way it would have been during the war. The U-782 will emerge in the nearest body of seawater.

-Travelling aboard the U-782 is an unpleasant experience, despite being a ghost ship, the crew act as if they were still alive in addition there is sometimes some ghosts event when the ship and crew seem to relieve past memories. So the runners might find themselves right in the middle of a destroyer chase, while there is no risk in those event, they are a weight on the mind and the accomodation in the ship are Squatter level.

Submarine Habits	The U-782 and it's crew act like a submarine, they go dark do what they are asked to do and disappear, as such it's quite hard to reach back to the crew and to change down instruction down the road. In addition if they have to transport runners or are called to attack at sea, they will do so under their own term.
Oceanic Ghost	Being a spiritual submarine, the U-782 can conduct a wide range of service that are tied to the oceans themselves whether through knowledge or active means.
Sea Wolf	The U-782 and it's crew still know how to operate and to lurk, with the help of magic from their spiritual status they are now even more effective in any tracking ongoing at sea.
The Wolf's Teeth	Sometimes tracking a ship is not enough, the U-782 is equipped with torpedoes and a 88mm deckgun that are often more than enough for runners to deal with threat at sea.
The Most Discrete Liner	Need to move around unnoticed in the oceans, to infiltrate a corpo site by the seas, well is there a better way to do it than to bring a submarine to the equation?
Hardened Seafearer	After decades spent in the navy in their due life and even more decade in the afterlife, few knowns the oceans more than a crew of ghosts...
