Character Information

Summary

Elisa Miettinen is an Erika Designer child born from the same brood as Wychking as a military response to invading Russia. Unlike the other kids of her class Miettinen was much more frail, showing little magical or physical promise. During a raid on the Erika labs, and inside job with runners to save the children of her class, she was left behind, leading for Wychking and herself being split up, as well with the other children from that brood. Being created and owned by Erika, She grew up having basic training with the Finish Defense Force. Miettinen excelled in the field of engineering; explosives, demolitions, roads, logistics, computers. After service, they were placed into a job with Erika directly, spending much of her adult life slowly but surely climbing the Erika ladder.

Cyberware engineering, hardware scaling, electronic coding, even going so far as to doing a stint in space for five years made Miettinen a formidable corpo. Yet after 30 years working for Erika, she decided perhaps it might be time to spread her wings, and as such she landed back on earth only to find that something had awakened inside her; the ability to astrally project and assense. With a written request and an understanding that she belongs to Erika, Miettinen moved to Seattle to find out who she was, and who the other children from her class were, too.

Set up with a handler while they were there, Silence was tasked with checking in with Grani daily to make sure that A) Silence was okay but B) to check her loyalties, making sure she had no chance of defecting. Yet here she is, landing in seattle with nothing but a microloft to her name, set up in advance by Erika

Goals

While she isn't necessarily thrilled with the idea of being a corpo after her personal realizaitons, the reality of her life is that Erika is all she knows.

• Potentially figure out who Wychking really is, in relation to herself.

Silence was kept in the Erika cage all her life, save for her previous active service and now reserve status for the Finnish Defense Force. Yet that did not make her immune to media coverage of Wychking and her eventual return to Erika. She hopes to one day talk with the person who could theoretically be considered a sister.

Plain as day; now that she's been given a bit of leeway, she wants to have a nice life, and potentially get to a high or even luxury lifestyle.

Narrative Significant Qualities

Finnish Defense Force, Specialist Elisa Miettinen (Practice3 - sneaking, Impenetrable Logic, Impassive, Poor Self Control-Verbal ticks)

Miettinen served for five years and then joined the reserve forces, opting to return to service in her country's time of need. During her service she saw very little combat, acting mostly in support roles. She showed promise with engineering, and finished as a specialist. Some of her finest moments included improvised explosives and building a few good relationships.

Alto University, Espoo, Finland: Masters in Civil Engineering (Analytical Mind, Bilingual, College Education)

Miettinen got a masters in engineering after military service, finding what practical experience she had very applicable to her studdies. By the end of her studdies, she had networked her way into a position with Erika; or so she thought. Little to her knowledge, Erika was always watching.

Erika Lintukoto-Ibis Engineering (SINner Corporate, Prototype Transhuman, Insomnia - Basic)

Miettinen, having been made by Erika, was scooped up by Erika and became a full employee after her time at the university and being part of the Finnish Defense Force. She's worked at Erika for a total of 12 years.

B.A.B.E.L. 04 (Explorer, Seer, Mentor spirit - Sun)

Getting an opportunity to spend time in space helping engineering on Zurich Orbital, Miettinen spent five years helping out team B.A.B.E.L. with their engineering and upkeep of the station and other spacecraft. While she was there, her previous lack of magic manifested during a solar storm, causing her to have visions. The experience was worthwhile, but when returning to earth and having new magic capabilities, Erika's grip on her tightened, a real collar placed on her. Tabs kept, watcher spirits, she was by all rights a bird in a case.
