Summary
A beloved husband is stolen away by members of the Princes gang! Return this wistful lover to their partner, pronto!
Background
Will Simply is canvasing for Republican candidate Kassandra Hemingway when they are abducted by gangers in Puyallup. Their partner noticing them gone attempts to contact the police but to no avail. Turning to a fixer contact of theirs, he's able to hire runners to potentially save their partner.
The Meet
The runners each arrive to meet the Johnson, Breyerith Simply. Negotiations and drugs are had, and its determined that the target may be held up at a local bar, the Clear Lakes 44 Dive. Leaving in different vehicles, Desi scouts the bar while Roc and Ashford look for disguises.
The Plan
The band of runners try a staggered approach to the target area; Desi going in with her guns to intimidate while the other two come up with alibis and disguises to get in.
The Run
Desi approaches the bar first, face checking a 'bouncer'. Their brief conversation ramps to threats quickly, but the bouncer seems nonplussed , asking for a bribe or for them to bring heavier firepower to 'give his friends a shock'. When the other runners approach, the bouncer steps aside and laughs at the trio, expecting a good show once they head inside.
Entering the bar, they greet with force two Princes sitting and drinking. A few moments of tense conversation lead to an attempted surprising of the team which leads to the two princes being disabled by method of damage to external organs.
After subduing the Princes, the team investigate further to find the target, being subdued by a mage. With the use of a flash-pack and more bullets, the mage is subdued before revealing any secrets. The target is rescued but not before having his ego bruised as much as his body.
On their way out, Roc contacts a someone from Spinnrad to fetch a bounty for the mage, to which the gang does not disagree.
Aftermath
Returning the target to the Johnsons, the Simplys, and Will promises to not pose as an Elf, until Ashford pushes him to do so with a lie.
Desi returns to the bar to threaten the leftover Princes, who vow to never return on threat of being shot again.
