Summary
Background
"The powers that be don't know I'm doing this,. so I would appreciate discretion. I have reason to believe that The First Nation is planning a major move against the Crimson Crush. The bosses believe that they can handle any problems. I think they're wrong. The tempo scum not only outnumber us in Seattle they can draw upon thousands outside of the metroplex. Luckily money will always buy shadowrunners and thanks to a recent score on the Yaks, I can use other-peoples-money to shop for the best. If interested have your fixer get in touch. I'll meet interested parties in the destination host of the Seattle Public Library at 1200 tomorrow. Niamh O'Sullivan."
The Meet
Thunder and Invictus meet the Johnson at the Library and agree to do the job, protecting the Crimson Crush event from First Nation gang interference. During the meeting, the Johnson shares the information that she discovered the following via radiowave - contact from the gang to Berlin in the AGS.
"Heinrich - the mind magician is on duty in Seattle. When will the Polymorph arrive? Andrea"
The Plan
Current Theories:
Heinrich is the mole inside Dagaz's Crew since the message was from Andrea Schmidt to a "Heinrich".- Sol Media is somehow connected to First Nation gang, since the CEO has ties to Aztechnology and European mafia who is the main producer of Tempo, and the First Nations gang is the main mover of Tempo.
- Sol Media is willing to play dirty and is probably going to do something against Dagaz in order to keep him from leaving and going to Spinrad or kill him.
- Potentially replacing Dagaz or one of his crew with a doppleganger?
- Possibly Lillian as the manager driving the push away from Sol Media
- First Nations is using contaminated drugs with tempo in it.
- First Nations wants to push the Crimson crush out of that territory
Current Unknowns:
- Who and where did the radio message come from?
- Who is Heinrich?
- Who is the budhhist/meditative looking woman?
- What is the Blue Heron zen community
- How does the Cafe and Arcade play into the issues?
To Do:
- Set up fire spirit attacks on First Nations warehouses

- Street Gangs:
The First Nation is an Amerind gang based in the Native American Nations. Membership: ~ 2,000. Annual Income: up to the 10s of millions nuyen. The gang has a presence in Seattle and in various cities within the Native American Nations. Among these are the Salish-Shidhe Council, the state of Denver, the Sioux Nation, and the Pueblo Corporate Council. Their expansion into Koshari territory is bringing them into conflict with the syndicate. The gang is also expanding into CalFree.
The First Nation gang claims turf along the docks north of the arcology, as well as some fo the Everett waterfront. As of 2071, they were pushing into Redmond and the area known as The Verge, notably territory of the Ork gang known the Crimson Crush . The gang is made up entirely of Native Americans, led by a Salish elf named Blood-of-the-Buffalo. Their symbol is a raven flying over a howling coyote. As of 2072 AD, the gang had 2,000 members (western NAN), of which 130 are in Seattle.
- AK Seattle:
- Probably not related to something running the border from SSC.
- Invictus calls Anne-Marie Leveux
- First Nation has been stockpiling drugs in advance of whatever is going on.
- They have been stockpiling Tempo: https://shadowrun.fandom.com/wiki/Tempo
- With the stockpile, they stand to give a bump in demand
- Tempo is the high cash payout for the First Nations gang
- The team heads to the venue to scope it out
- Thunder makes contact with the local orc security folks who more or less ignore Invictus.
- Weak BGC of 1, aspect towards Excitement
- Local Cafe
- DJ du Jour's girl recently died in a car accident over in Croatia
- Barsita has heard DJ might move to US soon and has a new girl in his personal assistant.
- Horizon doesn't really do a lot of work in the Ork Electronica Music industry.
- There are rumors about DJ leaving Sol and moving to Spinrad, not Horizon
- Talking to the Casino mafia guy in the cafe:
- Local Finnegans didn't have any idea about what's going on and the incoming drug trade
- Invictus calls Ace Powers
- Spinrad and Sol are fighting over DJ du Jour
- Sol would absolutely do underhanded things to keep the DJ on their payroll
- Car accident seemed clean, which is not conducive per se.
- Ace wants bootleg video of DJ du Jour
- The team heads to the nearby arcade
- Lots of VR skydiving machines which Thunder doesn't like. Flight Club seems to be run through the Ancients, which seems to be based out of Thune Field in Puyallup.
- Thunder calls Officer Raven
- No additional info re: First Nations attack
- DJ du Jour landing at SEATAC soon
- Matrix Search on Dietrich Dagaz (DJ de Jour)
- 1 - Berlin address & Commcode, AGS SIN
- 3 - Licensed Augmentations, Driver, Pilot, Marine, Drone. Massive social media presence: MeFeed, P2.1. Recent death of long term creative partner Anna Ivanova.
- Spirit of Man finds Dagaz, who arrived with a number of other people and follows him to the Underhaven Grotto Hotel
- Team contacts the Johnson to arrange a meeting with Dagaz at the hotel.
- The team interviews Dagaz and learns:
- He was really close to his prior partner
- Dagaz is happy with the new personal assistant
- He's unhappy with Sol Media and he has no intention of staying.
- Dagaz's team seems to be on board with jumping ship to Spinrad.
- Dagaaz's team is super focused on matrix security in order to protect the drone during performances
- Sol Media Info:
1 - Sol Media is a AA megacorporation based in Barcelona, Spain. Its CEO is Marina Nidos, a tough woman who gambles hard and has strong family connections in Aztlan. Its primary interests are in tourism, entertainment, and all aspects of media. Its subsidiaries include Terra Networks, Muxxic, Sol Media, SolEstudios, and Sol Vacaciones.
3 - Sol Media started out as a minor simsense studio in 2049. Through the financial risks taken by its CEO, playing the odds through all aspects of media, it managed to take the capital it was earning in entertainment and tourism and bank into several European corps. It broke into the Aztlan market through Nidos’s family connections there in 2052, and gained several controlling interests in Latin American media and telecom companies in 2054. The final merger with the international Italian media group Fininvest in 2061 vaulted it into the international scene. Because of its rapid growth and aggressive business tactics, Sol Media is much hated by its competitors and has DeMeKo, Saeder-Krupp (after acquiring Terra Networks), and Meridional among its enemies. Sol Media has been used by Lofwyr into a plot against Johnny Spinrad in the 50's, which led him to hold a grudge and acquired the group in the mid 70's. It has been backed by the Asociacion Vasquez for decades.
5/6 - Marina Nidos is the CEO of Sol Media, a AA megacorporation based in Barcelona, Spain. She is described as a risky gambler who is willing to play the game while aggressively stepping on anyone she has to. Her first break at forming Sol Media was after she somehow managed to takeover Spanish media giant RTVE with a controlling 51 percent interest (despite the fact that only 49 percent was publically tradeable on the market). She has several family ties in Aztlan, which she used to break into the Aztlan media market in 2052. After merging with Italian media giant Fininvest, she doesn't have majority control of Sol Media, but has enough proxy votes to sway the board toward her control. It is rumored one of her backers is Don Vázquez.
- The team goes to meet with Maryann Clay for some divination help.

5/6 - Neo Anarchist?
- Thunder calls Carleton Moreau to see about getting tickets in to the Needle to spy on Heinrich and his husband.
- Carleton arranges a contact with Katrina Smythe-Jones
- She arranges two tickets for the fancy restaurant
- The team heads to the Tip of the Tower, the restaurant at the top of the space needle
- Aura check appears to be accurate for what we think we know about Heinrich
- Judge intentions seems to reveal some nervousness from Heinrich, which could just be about the upcoming show
- There has to be another "Heinrich" somewhere out in the weeds.
- The team looks to match matrix search and assensing information
- The only thing that looks weird is Mabel and Lillian have UCAS SINs, and are the ones driving the move to the UCAS. The matrix searches reveals that they seem to be contractually part of the income from the DJ, whereas the others are salaried
- Seems clear there is no mole here
- Thunder calls Brodie J
- Gets information on where to get some of the drugs currently in use around Redmond and what might be in play during the event.
- Contacts Hez-kukra in order to test thoes drugs, checking for Tempo.
- Each of the drugs have minute alterations - bio-engineered, trace elements of tempo
- Not intentional, but contamination from similar machine
- Thunder calls Officer Raven, again
- Not a lot of information on any Heinrichs, but she is going to search for people using old tech.
- The team contacts the Johnson to run down the Seer, Andrea, contact
- The team traces Andreas Commlink, getting intel from her commlink on her location in Berlin.
- Camera intel from opfor seer:
- Heinrich Larnak - seems to work with Andrea frequently
- Seems to have some aspect of disguise, though we don't witness synthskin or shapechange
- AGS SIN, appears to not exist 3 years prior - Fake Sin?
- The Team goes to Isabel's Aircrafts & more
- Isabel is apparently unphased by Invictus being suave.
- Heinirch did indeed come through, and headed NE from her place.
- Thunder hits Isabel with influence and mindnet to get her to share additional information
- One long search power later, they locate him back at the Underground Grotto hotel
- At the hotel, Invictus is able to sleaze the ward and ID Heinrich, though he thinks he's mundane due to failing the aura check.
- Though a series of ridiculous events, they sneak into the room and manage to not trip the ward, accidentally wake up Heinrich, knock him back out, and then wake him up to interrogate him.
- After realizing Larnak won't quit the job, they exfil him from the hotel via mind magic and invisibility.
- Interrogation of Heinrich Larnak
- His team has a shapechanger who was going to impersonate the girlfriend and assassinate the DH,
- The team heads back to the hotel in order to Vibe Check Mabel
- While Invictus is on the way to do that, Thunder kills Larnak under the premise of "hiding him"
- The team makes it to the hotel, confirm that Mabel hasn't been taken, putting the security team on alert.
- With that done, the team moves to their spirit summoning plan in order to burn the drug warehouses down so that the First Nations can't move their Tempo drugs in.

Game Quotes
Player After Action Reports (AARs)
Invictus - What the actual fragging hell. Simple job, right? Make sure a damn tusker party goes off without a hitch. Should be a simple as playing door guard. Easy money. Fragging hell was I incorrect. Gang war plots on one side, corporate vendettas on the other. What a fragging mess. Still sort of amazed we made it out without things blowing up in our face. Thunder's a decent sort.
Thunder - A night at the door turned out to be a week of leg work and a big stack of Nooj! So, I guess that's a success. If all week-end jobs go like this, I'll become a full time worker and retire with 30. ...or should I just spend the money. ...so many shiny things. ...that infomertials seems interesting ... ...
