Overview

Silas and Thekla Economakos are two happily married satyrs running Demeter Gardening Services in Cathcart, Snohomish. It's not easy being pointy-eared there, but their friendly way of being makes an exception for them among all but Humanis members. The gardening center is also useful for networking, which they engage in with much gusto. The local community respects them, in no small part due to the pretty, sturdy plants they sell and the business relationship with the Dancing Zorba Greek restaurant nearby. As a family, they've got triplets - Anita, Diana and Nick. They're not exactly household names, but they can help you with meeting other people there, small business and especially gardening.

Aspect	Description
Blissfully Unaware	This is someone who doesn't think that their contacts are runners and doesn't understand the whole runner thing. If they find out you are a runner, immediately make a test of loyalty. If you fail the test of loyalty, they will think you are a terrorist, burn you and contact law enforcement. If you succeed in a test of loyalty, they will be willing to listen to you explain yourself and even help you leave the runner life. You might be able to convince them to associate with the shadows. Contact a GM or Thematics if this happens as it may involve the removal of that tag. Gear contacts with this contact will only sell you legal gear or restricted gear with the appropriate licenses unless you conduct a social test to convince them the lack of paperwork is for a benign reason.
Family Time	The GM rolls a 1D6 in secret. If the roll is a one, they will not answer the call immediately. When they call you later, they'll explain that their babysitter didn't come, the triplets had a party, school event etc.
Working Hours	A healthy balance between work and private life is paramount if you don't want to burn out. They don't, so they tune out of business matters outside of normal PST office hours (9-5, Monday through Friday). Add +5 to the threshold of his contact availability test if trying to contact them at other times (very early in the morning, late in the evening, on the weekends).
Demeter Days	They own a little mom-n-pop corp, specifically a gardening center. Knowledge tests like Biology, Architecture, Business and Farming are at +2. They can even sell you a plethora of plants, furnish your garden or offer a killer bouquet.
The Big Ten	You can't avoid dealing with the megas. Knowledge tests related to the Big Ten and networking checks specifically with Aztechnology people are at +2.
Neighborhood Networking	They're small fish, but then again, it's a small pond as well. Networking with other Cathcart people receives +2.
Choose a Word and I'll Show You It Comes from Greek…	They're neeerds for their culture. Knowledge skills related to all things Greek, for example learning the language, about satyrs, minotaurs and cyclops trolls, Greek mythology, the Olympianism tradition or the history and politics of the Republic of Hellas are at +2.
Pointy-Eared and Tusked	Snohomish has a serious dislike of metas. They band together because of that. If you're not human, infected or a metasapient, tests to help you are at +2.
Like Likes Like	Tribality is hell of a drug. Satyrs, minotaurs and cyclops trolls as well as followers of the Olympianism tradition receive +2 to everything Silas and Thekla do for them. This stacks with Pointy-Eared and Tusked.
Snohomish Shadows	It's not that they're part of it or endorse it. It's not possible to live in Snohomish, especially as a meta, and be left alone. Knowledge tests related to the area, local gangs and crimes committed - juicy, juicy gossip - as well as networking with other Snohomish contacts always receive +2.
