Overview
Kurt Angar's parents were second-gen immigrants from the Berlin Free City. Fleeing their homeland from Neo-Anarchists and corporate movers and shakers alike wasn't easy. In Seattle, they found a safe haven. The son Awakening as a physical adept led to the entire family getting lucky enough to be noticed by the Draco Foundation, taken in and given decent employment. Kurt's been a fan of everything related to sneaking from an even earlier age, but discovering the Gift certainly aided him very much. After obtaining his Associate of Applied Science in Somatics from the Seattle University (a degree for physads) and a number of hands-on courses, he began work as a dedicated bounty hunter for the Draco Foundation. A follower of Spider (Alt), he's very vocal about spiders not being insects. With his wife Ana, under handles of Spinne and Malerin, they typically deal with smaller bug hives in the metroplex.
Aspects Description
Aspect | Description |
---|---|
Draco Foundation Loyalist | Spinne owes the Draco Foundation a lot. If you contact him during a run and use the information provided to work against them, roll a Loyalty check. If it fails, he immediately burns you. If it succeeds, you owe him a chip to re-earn favor with him. |
Adept | He's an initiated physical adept (MAG 6, IG1: Masking, druidic tradition, the Invisible Way, unaugmented). His stealth was really good before his Awakening, with access to powers like Improved Reflexes and Traceless Walk, he's next to impossible to detect. |
Spider Follower | He's a follower of the Spider (Alt) mentor spirit (FA p. 100), enjoying +2 to the Stealth group and two levels of Spirit Claw (Unarmed Combat and Astral Combat), although he needs to roll 4+ on Composure to change a plan or do anything without one; if failed, the perfectionist in him suffers a -2 penalty to all tests until a new plan is established. |
Stealth Sensei | Spinne loves making his beloved game reality and sharing what he knows about avoiding detection. If your Loyalty with him is 2+, you can purchase the Sensei quality for him so that he teaches you the Stealth group. Even if it's not, he makes Sneaking tests at +2. |
Bounty Hunter | He takes his work for the Draco Foundation very seriously. When on a job related to claiming a bounty for them or another such errand, he receives +2. |
Magical Combat | When it's necessary to bypass Immunity to Normal Weapons, Spinne uses powers like Spirit Claw, State of Purity, Killing Hands and Penetrating Strike to deal with evil spirits. His Unarmed Combat and Astral Combat tests are done at +2. |
Arachnid Aficionado | Spinne and Malerin both are very eager to convince more people that spiders are in no fashion related to insect spirits. Knowledge skills about arachnids or the malevolent influence of bugs receive a +2 bonus. |
