Summary

In the remains of the West Coast Monolith Base, Blackhawk does all he can to aid those he feel gave him a chance with their heads on straight.

Background

Amidst troubles emerging in the Haven Blackhawk not sure what to do went into hiding. But upon hearing of the attack on the West Coast Monolith he immediately set off to see how bad the damage was and see whatever he could to help out those that survived the attack.

The Meet

Upon arriving at the now ruined military base Blackhawk stood in horror before wishing to head in. After remembering of the minefield he moved towards the front gate with his weapon at the ready. After being informed it was safe he stowed his rifle and was told to head towards the new acting leader. A brief investigation later and he found her leaning back against a wall in the barracks. After brief introductions and questions Blackhawk learned nearly the full extent of what had happened. How the Monolith organization across the world had sent a form of nuclear attack against their home base. With a determination to help out Blackhawk asked what needed to be done. Hextech then providing him with a list of various assignments needed to help both the base and its occupants. With a brief nod he departed ready for the various missions he could do.

The Plan

Upon looking at the list Blackhawk decides to do all he can accepting multiple missions to aid those in need. His first priority being to find the man that introduced him to the organization that had gone missing, rumored to be located at a Knight Errant Precinct. Ordering a drone courtesy of one of his contacts Blackhawk awaited the delivery as to spy on said precinct. But till then he set off to get the camp actual quality food. Paying a supplier to get a large shipment of authentic non-soy produced food. An... interesting AI companion built into the truck thanks to Hextech that accompanied him towards the delivery site. Not seeming to care at all for the hole being burned into his pocket. While loading the shipment a brief call towards a specific infected doctor provided aid to those that did not have gaping open wounds for fear of infection. But still aid was provided as one of the other jobs caught Blackhawk's eye. Finding out the location of the Monolith organization based that had caused the devastation. So after sending the truck back towards the campsite, he set off to find "Wherever the hell the toxic bastards went."

The Run

Upon realizing he had little to no knowledge as to how to track them he called in another contact to ensure they be found. Bellerophon, whom after hearing of his need sent him a training module to train him in the arts of tracking. After a DELIBORATELY long and agonizing programmed process Blackhawk managed to track that they had crossed the border to the SSC. Knowing crossing the border unprepared was borderline impossible he called up Hextech for guidance as to how to go about it where upon she informed him of a chopper located back at base. After hooking up and storing his... chopper inside the chopper. A thick Texan/southern accent emitting from it as once again Hextech';s AI's had some... quirks. Eventually he was dropped off in the middle of the surrounding woods near one of the SSC settlements. After a brief tree crash and trail left by his bike Blackhawk once again realized he had little experience with finding out where to continue the search. After fumbling around Hextech had one of her AIs teach him the fundamentals of navigating to the select location. Time passed though and after digging a hole and having what was most likely a squirrel piss on it, Blackhawk continued his search. However after getting few results the cowboy decided to rest at a local motel with the faint signature of a force 7 that was present not too long ago. Deciding not to care he got a nice long slumber and departed the next night, where upon the trail was easier to follow. After tracking it for a while Blackhawk noticed the general direction it was heading towards, Mt. Rainer. After informing of his discovery and starting to head towards it, Hextech managed to dissuade him from his poorly disguised psuedo-suicide attempt and Blackhawk headed back towards the Texan voiced chopper to head back home.

Aftermath

Upon arriving back it was confirmed the man both Hextech and Blackhawk was looking for was indeed at a nearby Knight Errant Precinct. And as a token of thanks Hextech enhanced Blackhawks newly purchased drone. Which he tanked her for after stowing it. A brief chat followed though amongst the two relaying who the Monolith was, how they began, and the mystery of what their goal was currently. How the west coast monolith was founded by a former runner of the Haven and their current goals. After which Blackhawk relayed to Hextech his fear of losing himself and how if he ever does he would prefer someone he trust and know take him out but giving him a flask of whiskey before he goes completely. Jotting down a note Hextech agreed to it and asked he take up night watch duty before he departed. Which Blackhawk gladly accepted.

Game Quotes

Player After Action Reports (AARs)

Blackhawk: "Always knew there were more threats out there other than infected but... never thought I would train my gun on them. I can safely say that has now changed. These people gave me a chance, have their head on straight, and overall I respect them. I can never be an official member, that I know. But I'll be damned if I don't give them my all whenever they want or need me."
