Overview

Windfall is a cutthroat loan shark who always gets even. If she doesn't get her money, she'll do her damnedest to get (or break, or kill) something else of yours instead. She leads a Redmond gang, Red Ledger, which acts as an expanded arm of her loan shark business. She's quite interested in diversifying into other forms of business, including protection rackets, raids, and otherwise.

Despite this reputation, Windfall puts on a warm, cheerful presence for those that are on her good side, including members of Red Ledger. Though she's calculating at heart, and doesn't have many compunctions about resorting to brutality, blackmail, and so forth, she views these tools as an unfortunate reality of the Redmond environment. Life is too short, in her mind, to keep up an act like that forever. By the same token, if you hurt those people that she opens up to... you're going to find yourself on the wrong end of a gun. In the same vein, she does not brook insubordination or betrayal, and will go from zero to one hundred real fast in retaliation for them.

In leading Red Ledger, Windfall is a careful and shrewd mover. With so many gangs already holding power in Redmond, she's wary of pushing for more power too quickly without allies. As a result, there's a bit less public awareness of them than other nearby gangs.

Windfall is more of a manipulator than someone gets her hands dirty herself, relying on contacts, allies, and people she pays to get wetwork jobs done. Her proper resources lie both in her keen mind and connections across Seattle.
