Summary
Red Ledger is a gang initially formed around the operations of a notable loan shark operating out of Redmond, Windfall, and this business is still a major source of their income. They have a reputation for brutal retaliation and enforcement against those who don't pay their debts, and have the muscle to back it up. The gang has also been expanding into protection rackets throughout their territory, but is still undergoing growing pains. Their main operations don't extend far past Redmond at this point.
They're made up of a diversity of metatypes. Skills-wise, members of Red Ledger values strength and firearms skills (the enforcement side of the gang), Matrix and investigative ability (to keep tabs on debtors), and smooth talking (to make deals and pick up customers). Prospective recruits are vetted by existing members before being accepted into the gang, which has kept their numbers rather smaller than they could be.
In the early days of their expansion, Red Ledger was drawn into a conflict with a rival gang, Chrome Crash, over territorial conflicts. The methods used to fight this battle were of similar brutality, but Chrome Crash struck first and more recklessly, perpetrating attacks against members of Red Ledger, their families, and their close associates. Through the course of this conflict, Red Ledger took their time, and assembled a comprehensive list of known Chrome Crash safehouses and members across Redmond. Once this legwork was finished, they coordinated simultaneous attacks on these assets, which were largely successful and shattered the rival gang irreparably. Soon afterwards, they absorbed the former enemy's territory into their own.
The viciousness with which this conflict was fought has left a deep bitterness in the hearts of those who participated, especially those whose friends or loved ones were targeted.

Any former members of Chrome Crash. Red Ledger is currently unaware of the survival of any, but at least two exist - Exeunt, who changed his identity after the destruction of Chrome Crash, and the shadowrunner Red Ribbon. There may be a few others out there...
Current Status
Red Ledger finds itself in an interesting position in 2084. Too small to be of note to more major gangs (for now), and riding the recent high of the destruction of a rival, they have plenty of room to grow and apparently time to do it. At the same time, they're still a relatively small fish in the very big pond that is Seattle, and larger, more established outfits like the Ancients and Halloweeners would cause big problems for them if they became antagonistic. Brokering alliances will be key to the gang's future survival.
Health Summary
Red Ledger is currently in a strong position after the destruction of Chrome Crash, their most direct territorial rival. They have absorbed that gang's territory into their own. Without such an immediate, major enemy, they currently have their pick of future ambitions.
