Overview

Coleman is a member of the Order of Hospitaller Knights, originally hailing from Galway, Ireland - or so he'd say. In reality, while his family might hail from there Cole was born on a ship, one of the refugees of a regime that cared not a whit for the people who owned the land before it. And while he insists that there's no lingering feelings on the matter, he's carried that experience forward as a notable distaste for racist organizations and places. From the Ancients to the Tir states to the JIS or the Skraacha, he's uninterested in the excuses given - racism is abhorrent in principle, in any form.

He serves alongside Angélica Cabral in the Sovereign Maltese consulate in Seattle - a very fancy name for what is essentially a pair of small offices rented downtown.

In play, Cole is soft spoken - quiet confidence and patience is what he exudes. Diplomacy requires it when negotiating for a weaker organization.

For The Cause: OHK	The Knights are nothing if not dedicated to their cause. While charitable and happy to make friends, their resources are limited, and strictly allotted to those who contribute in turn. This contact's Loyalty cannot be raised manually. The maximum loyalty upon purchase or reward of this contact is 2. Loyalty can only be raised 1 at a time, and each raising requires the character to first complete a run on their behalf.
Unbending Morals, Trying Times	Members of the Order of Hospitaller Knights have earned their place in the organization through unflinching moral character. Learning that their work has been turned to evil ends or that they may have made an enemy of a major faction decreases any member's Loyalty by 1. If Loyalty drops to 0 in this way, the member will burn the runner in question. The contact is lost, and they will take -5 reputation with the OHK.
Bigoted Against Bigotry	Coleman has no patience for those who hold hatred in their heart for their fellow metahuman. Any runner who he discovers is a member of a racist organization (syndicates, some nations), or who he learns is personally bigoted (has the Prejudiced negative quality) will take a -2 to all dicepools until they renounce their membership or buy off that negative quality. Their loyalty will be capped to 3. Additionally, if Coleman learns that the runner called in his services for a job that benefits an organization that holds bigoted views, the runner's loyalty will be reduced by 1. This can stack with "Unbending Morals, Trying Times."
Corporate Negotiator	Cole is one of the negotiators in the Seattle area in charge of keeping the peace with the corporations. Thus, he knows a lot about them. +2 to checks related to AA or AAA corporations.
Rubbing Shoulders with Ares	The Knights operate out of an aircraft carrier built in the UCAS - thus, by necessity, they need to make many deals with General Dynamics, an Area subsidiary. +2 to checks related to Ares.
Politically Connected	Cole's whole job is to be politically connnected - he hosts and attends charity dinners and other poliical functions. +2 to checks related to politics.
Friends in the UCAS	By necessity, the Knights maintain a close relationship with the UCAS. It is the UCAS Navy that sold them their carrier, and their relationship is something the Knights are careful to maintain. +2 to checks related to the UCAS government.
Settled in Seattle	Like it or not, Seattle is home for Cole. And he's taken steps to ensure he'll have favors to call in and strings to pull in the local government when needed. +2 to checks related to Seattle politics.
