OptimismBeast's GM Style Sheet
Overall I'm pretty new to Shadowrun in general, so I trend towards not taking it too seriously as a setting. While I generally expect characters to react to the absurd situations with which they are faced seriously, the situations themselves will often develop in pretty comical ways.
Generally I want players to:
- Not walk away from the job at the meet. I will try not to pick characters who might walk at the meet, and will try to make warnings about it, but if your character can not accept the job it creates a serious complication for the entire run.
- Not try and screw over the rest of the team which can include disrupting the run if that's not their scheme.
- Be okay with serious and dark themes. The 6th world is not a pretty place and sometimes bad things happen.
- Be willing to go along with consequences, but be generally willing to bring up concerns.
