Summary
A small clan, weakest of all in Seattle, the Kenran-kai nonetheless remains a proud and dangerous part of the overarching Shotozumi-rengo. Now one of the city's most diverse and modernized Yakuza groups, the Kenran-kai serve as the Yakuza's strong arm in Puyallup, with threats on the matrix, the astral, and on the streets. They associate closely with the Blue Dragons go-gang, and themselves are known for their acceptance of cyberware as a means to bust heads. As an appendage of the greater Yakuza operation, they come up against the Gianelli Family, who also consider Puyallup their turf.
Goals
Control and exploit territory in Puyallup, then Assert the influence of the Shotozumi-rengo, then Advance to become a full-fledged gumi of the Yakuza.

Background
Formed from the most loyal of the traitors that sought to take down the Shotozumi, the Kenran-kai has always been the Yakuza group of Puyallup. Brought in to handle the local gangs, they've also had to struggle with the Mafia since their founding. At one point famous for their combination of old-school racism and anti-metahuman and misogynist attitudes, the Kenran-kai changed its tune after the Shigeda-gumi dissolved, adopting less restrictive membership "standards" and to some degree embracing the "New Way".
