Summary

Squirrel SURGE gnome with a bit of an attitude and a monowhip. Oh and a wingsuit.

Goals

• Mess with the 'Weeners. Mostly by killing some of them.
• Be awesome.
• Get more 'ware and become more superhuman.
• Bite people when all else fails.

Background

Cyril was part of a small runner crew working their way up. He'd grown sick of being the 'little guy' and had long since started augmenting himself. He also worked at his skill with the monowhip, even putting effort in to modifying his own weapon. All of this combined to make him an effective, and surprising, muscle for the small time crew.

In September of 2081, they were hired for a simple retrieval. Get something from one guy and bring it to another. The guy who hired them was some academic type, but he had fur all over him and claws for digging. The mark had scales and short arms. Yes, they were both SURGE'd, but the small time crew didn't think anything of it. They got the 'thing' and before they handed it over, Cyril and the Wrecks, the rigger, wanted to have a look. Bad things happened then. They both underwent painful transformations. Wrecks ended up dying a few days later, while Cyril recovered, albeit much more squirrely than before.

The crew tried to go back to work after that. It worked for a little while, but things just weren't the same. He could tell they were looking at him differently (maybe the squirrel toys at the scene of the crime were too much?) and he was looking at them differently, too. They just didn't seem to matter that much anymore. He stayed around long enough to get a few more upgrades then he quit.

In November 2081, Cyril was accosted by a group of Halloweeners. This was not long after his SURGE and when they started throwing popcorn to him and jeering, he boiled over. He berserked and attacked them. In the end he killed two of them, took part of an arm off two others, and left a Rager half dead from a pair of bites. This torqued off the 'Weeners of course. That group was supposed to be setting fires or doing something else petty. And, of course, Cyril hates them now, taking every excuse to go after them when he sees them.

Met her after the SURGE got him. He's not quite sure how she found him, but hey, if she wants to set him up with jobs, who is he to argue. Squirrels gotta stick together. Maybe.

Bongo has been good for finding gear since Cyril started. It's good to have useful people around.

Rachel Raven

Met Rachel the one time he got into 'The Butterfly Effect'. About 4 minutes later he was kicked out - nobody knew who he was or why he was there. Cyrrel was just there to be there.

• SURGE- Cyrrel looks like a squirrel, but also has some snake characteristics. (Satyr legs, Balance tail, Fangs, Natural Venom.)
• Special Modifications - He's modified his monowhip, it's longer.. more reach is more deadly.

Negative

• SURGE - Bioluminescence, Impaired Logic and Charisma, and Unusual Hair.
• Thrill Seeker (PSC) - Thrills are still thrills even when you look like a squirrel.
• Super Human Psychosis - Full of 'ware and squirreliness, of course he's better than normies.
• Vendetta against Halloweeners - He does not like them or their jokes.
• Berserker - Sometimes when he gets stressed he looses control.

Things that might cause him to lose it:

Persistent pestering about being small or squirrel like - especially if refernces to things squirrels eat are made.

Attempts to capture him.

Being made to feel physically inferior (i.e. getting bested physically)
