Summary

Intercession is a cyborg bodyguard. Designed to appear non-threatening, while being resistant to most antipersonnel weapons, they are a prototype being tested out in the Seattle underground.

Goals

Defend team leaders: Intercession was made to defend people. That is its goal.

Further the goals of MCT: MCT created Intercession. Of course he wants whats best for it.

Background

Intercession is part of an MCT project to create a line of easily manufacturable bodyguards, who could take significant damage but also were overlookable and could blend in without giving their purpose away. The project is still in the early phases, and due to the demands for field testing, some of the prototypes were given lease to be used for shadowwork as supposed independents. Intercession was assigned to Seattle, and quickly gotten Shadowhaven clearance so that he could perform runs and gather data to further the project.

Narrative Significant Qualities

Positive

Limited-personality conditioning (Trust data, not lore, Cyber-singularity Seeker): Intercetion's development was carefully guided to ensure that he could behave correctly both in social situations and under pressure.

Negative

Support cyborg (Groupthink, Social Stress, Buddy System, No Man Left Behind, Designated Omega): Intercetion was conditioned to be loyal and respond promptly to orders. As a result of this, he also suffers immense separation anxiety and has greatly hindered independent decision making.

Denied personhood (Records on file, Electronic witness): While given more freedom then most corporate cyborgs, Intercetion is still seen as a tool by MCT, his interactions are logged, and he has no ability to express independent desire to his superiors.
