Summary
A gang of ill prepared but skilled runners went down to New Orleans for some Wetwork that quickly spiraled out into a fetch quest of murder, mayhem, and the attention of some very powerful people and things.
Background
The Streets of New Orleans have been increasingly drenched in the blood of the Zobop as a variety of older Krewes, Mystical Societies and Mardi Gras Gangs have slowly been banding together in support of a return to form for New Orleans, secretly supported by the 3 Hearts of the City, Satch, Marie, and Mac- who is supported in turn secretly by the dragon, Theriot.
Ashy Clarence, civic leader and member of a half dozen social aid and pleasure clubs finds himself funding the Zobop Resistance with the help of Enrico "Rico" Tibideux, Chief of the Neon Chipatlous Mardi Gras Gang and saw the difficulties a group parade was going to run into. He reached out through his ex wife, Hattie, to hire runners from outside the City to keep the payback to a minimum.
The Meet
There were a series of meets to get this job rolling.
Geodesic got a call from Elmo Stubitz suggesting she check the job out, and if she saw any talent down there from his book, to send them his way.
The rest of the team were sent to Miss Hattie through the usual channels, and explained she would be footing the bill for their travel and expenses to assist the actual client who would be awaiting them in New Orleans if they accepted the job. Once they passed Hattie's preliminary checks they were given a host to look up Ashy Clarence in.
Geo promptly started destroying the host, leading to the team rapidly accepting Clarence offer of 18K apiece.
The team contacted a Shrimp Captain known to throwback who got them down to the gulf cast lickety split.

The Mercy Neighborhood is now aspected with a level 3 Background Count of Murder, Mayhem, Music and Shenanigans. This is arguably slightly better than it's previous background count of Organlegging and Zobop corrupted Voudoun.
Mac, the Dark Heart of the City is awake and moving among the populace, likely settling into the Mercy neighborhood.
Theriot, the Mardi Gras Dragon has revealed his existence to the public 2 days before Mardi Gras 2085.
The Zobop are aware the city is actively attempting to purge them, with the entirety of the 298 Boys dead aside from Pierre Thibideux who was hired out as a Horizon Artist through Elmo Stubitz. The Red Mask's leader Brother Paul is missing and presumed dead and the primary Lt. Mambo is confirmed dead.
