Summary

A horrible person who shouldn't be allowed to continue to live, but who does so anyway because the Sixth World is a terribly unfair place.

Goals

• Feast on a steady supply of metahuman blood/fear/souls.
• Find somewhere to live that isn't a filthy trailer in an ethnic slum.
• Face the Dweller at the Threshold after nearly 60 years of being a mage.

Background

Born in Belfast in 2002 as a spike baby. Abandoned and disowned by his family as a freak, he grew up in an orphanage where the constant ostracization lead to a lifelong antipathy towards people in general. He was lucky enough to survive the Black Tide and VITAS, as well as the chaos of the Awakening and the Irish Reformation when most of those around him did not. In 2022 he was living on the streets of Dublin when he was was attacked by a banshee - the sheer terror caused him to Awaken, and he managed to destroy the monster with fire and lightning, but the small scratch that it managed to inflict on him got infected...

After enduring a painful metamorphosis into a cannabalistic horror that subsists on blood, fear and innocent souls, he left the nascent elfnostate his homeland was becoming and spent several decades aimlessly wandering Europe, feeding off the carnage and death left in the wake of the Euro Wars and seeking after a cure for the condition. As metahumanity learned more about HMHVV it became clear that a cure was not forthcoming, so he had no choice but to slowly accept himself as the monster he had become, seeing himself as a cut above mundane metahumanity and even other Awakened and Infected.

Eventually in the early 2050s he finally bit off more than he could chew with a particularly-stubborn vampire hunter and went into torpor for over 20 years, waking nearly a decade after Crash 2.0 to an entirely new world. The virus had mutated while he slept, and his hunger had grown into something primal and savage. The political landscape of the continent had changed as well, and all of his old contacts were either dead or out of reach, so he decided a change of scenery was in order. Moving to North America, he stayed for a while in Tír Tairngire but found it was not to his liking, so he spent the last of his savings getting himself smuggled north to the Seattle Metroplex with little more than the clothes on his back.
