Meatgrinder

A form of "Hard Mode" for Shadowrun, the Meatgrinder is a metaplot detailing various difficult jobs given by a mysterious Johnson. These are explicitly aimed to target those that do not mind suffering defeat and want to test their gamesense.

Employer

A black-haired woman without an aura or Matrix presence. She appears in inconspicuous locations for job meets and often provides highly lucrative rewards for completing objectives. Any attempts at searching more information about her have so far failed. Ms. Johnson's work often takes place in South American countries. Her specific goals are not known, but most work has involved finding various disasters waiting to happen and attempting to mitigate them.
