Character Information

Summary

A dwarven decker and animator trying to raise money for his own studio.

Goals

-Raise enough money to start his own studio.

-Stick it to his old boss.

Background

Issac is a japanese-american dwarf who's grandparents fled to the UCAS due to the persecution of metatypes in japan. They left behind much of their culture to avoid xenophobia, but Issac always had a love for the culture of his home, which led him to get a job as an animator for a mid-rate studio. However, problems began when his department was downsized, and he was slated to be fired. However, instead of taking this sitting down, he tried to speak up, and stand up for himself and his coworkers. Instead of getting his wish, he was made an example of. His sin was burned, and corperate security chased him all the way to the barrens. Now, he works in the shadows, While he's angry at his former boss for what happened, he also realizes that this is an oppertunity to move upward in the world. If he does well enough, he could save up enough money to open his own studio, and make it into the place he always wanted to work at. There's a lot of clouds hanging over him right now, but even they have a silver lining.

Narrative Significant Qualities

Positive

Instinctive hack, Perfect time: Silver lining has timing down to an art. At his old job, people claimed he could analyze something frame-by-frame even when it was playing at normal speed.

Negative

-Albinism: Silver Lining's name doesn't just come from the saying, he's white as a sheet and burns easily.

-Deaf: Silver Lining is profoundly deaf, he can read english, but otherwise communicates only through DNI and ASL.

Character Plot Hooks

Here are characteristics of the character that GMs may take advantage of to add complications to runs, or to otherwise use when in use. If you want to use them in unrelated to runs, please ask first.

I'll get back at them: Silver lining is pretty mad at their boss for firing them and also setting corpsec on them, so their definitely looking for an excuse to get back at the people he used to work for.

Note

I am completely fine with long term consequences for my characters, as long as it doesn't feel unannounced or forced. Long term changes to a character make more opportunities for interesting roleplay, and so don't be afraid to give them out if they are deserved.
