Overview
Hollie was born into a fairly rich Wiccan family and lived a fairly normal life, up until Cat showed up. She was raised to follow the traditions, which she did with maybe a little bluntness. She never was one to tell a white lie. If you asked her what she thought of something, you'd get an honest answer. When she Awoke, she began to take part in the coven's rituals. For her 18th birthday, her parents bought her her first focus, a simple, small power focus. Little did she know that this one had been made with a flaw. Poor quality reagents caused the whole thing to detonate barely a year later. The magical backlash injured her arm and took out both her hearing and sight.The head Priestess, who had always disliked her for her honestly, or as she called it, "lack of respect", took advantage of this and declared that she could no longer participate in rituals and it was strongly advised she not leave the house. Over the next few months, Cat appeared to her, helped her befriend her first familiar, and then convinced her to move to Seattle. Of course, her parents noticed and supported her remotely. The bill for her apartment never shows up and her account mysteriously always has a little spending money, as long as she doesn't do anything that could be tracked back to her and get her parents in hot water. Once in Seattle, she was contacted by Jane Doe, who happened to be a friend of her family. Jane and Cat convinced Hollie that going into the shadows would let her use and grow her powers while finding her place in the world. Indus was a runner for a while but has discovered that this is not a good role for her in the shadows. Through the run Capitalism Ho! she has become a talismonger.
