Their career as a runner was fairly unremarkable; mid-grade corporate jobs with the occasional big score and on the side hooding work. They had a solid reputation as a hacker and field medic (hence the name), and eventually developed a stable relationship with a fellow runner. Her comfortable existence came to a close in the winter of '76, when a night of drinking with her partner ended with getting captured by Tamanous organleggers.
