Summary

Wireless, AKA NEONET-AD-IA or, as she prefers, Nadia, is the result of an extensive experiment into technomancy conducted by Neonet before the fall. After failing their initial purposes, she was repurposed as a counter-decker unit for the use of GOD. However, Neonet fell shortly before her obedience reprogramming, resulting in a pissed off strike unit with a particular hatred of the major Matrix corps.

Background

NEONET-AD-IA was 'born' during the first wave of Neonet's experiments into combining SURGE traits with technomancy. While they succeeded in making a SURGE techno, she was too alien to be any good in society, what with her animalistic traits and third eye, so she was deemed a failure.

NeoNet pushed her into prep as a strike unit, and she was augmented and engineered to be a unit specifically for disabling dangerous deckers.

Her childhood, if it can be called such, was corporate education, military training and surgical experimentation. Nadia fully believes that the only reason she survived was because NEONET-SH(Nash), her batch brother (the only other of her batch to survive), supported her. They were raised together, trained together, and she expected her brother to go through into GOD with her.

However, on their sixteenth birthday, Nash was taken to a different facility, never to be seen again. Two years later, in the midst of NeoNet's fall, she discovered that he had been 'harvested' to create some kind of new tool, killing him. This cemented her hatred of NeoNet and all corps like it, causing her to escape her room, and murder everyone in her secret facility, hidden on the floor of the Seattle sound, near Fort Lewis.

Eventually, she reached out, connecting with OtherCon, and some members of the Shadow Community, deciding that this was the best place to strike out at the remaining Matrix Megacorps.

Wireless is rather distinctive, being a vulpine changeling with fur the copyrighted color of Neonet's corporate logo. She also bears the Neonet logo in bright LEDs on her left cyberthigh.

Appearance

Clothing

Wireless actually likes her fur, so when not on a job, she will walk around in the bare minimum required for decency. On the job, however, she wears a steampunk-styled victorian dress, which is a lot easier to move in than it looks, with a snarling wolf facemask that conceals her extra eye.

Matrix Persona

Wireless' default persona is a steampunk cyborg seven tailed kitsune, in her golden-brown color scheme. This has the odd feature of making her look like the ten-pointed star of the Neonet logo.
