Overview

A young fox shifter originally hailing from Korea, Ara Yeou has traveled all around the Pacific Rim for years at the behest of her mentor spirit (the Fox totem, naturally). Having recently completed a major quest (with aid from helpful runners), she now splits her time between acting as a guardian/shrine maiden for a sacred statue located at the peak of Mount Paektu and traveling the world in order to better understand metahumanity.

Notes for GMs

• Her animal form is a Korean red fox, while her metahuman form is that of a young adult Korean human with short red hair and a tan complexion.

• Has a strong proficiency with illusion and manipulation magic, as well as artificing and spirit summoning (particularly beast spirits, with which she has an affinity). While she is not a chain breaker, she will show overt disdain towards those who treat spirits as servants or tools.

• Lies somewhere in the middle of the animal/metahuman spectrum - while she can relate to people on a personal level and empathize with their plights, she is somewhat detached from societal concerns and sometimes displays a lack of basic common sense with regards to social etiquette.

• Generally conflict-averse, but can be quite ruthless when backed into a corner - will caution runners against direct confrontation with their opponents and be reluctant to provide aid in premeditated fights, however if forced into such a situation she shows neither mercy nor restraint.

• While she has little use for money herself, she understands the value that others place on it, and is thus willing to accept it as payment. However she prefers promises of future favors or tangible demonstrations of a person's commitment to protecting nature (particularly spirits).

Chosen of Húshén	Yeou is both a vulpine shifter and a chosen follower of the Fox totem. +2 to Knowledge checks for all things fox related, as well as to Networking checks with other fox shifters and Fox followers.
Foxgirl Magic	Yeou is a full magician of the Shamanic tradition, and is willing to provide magical aid to others - however she will only take chips in return. Additionally, those who ask for the services of spirits will be expected to treat them with due respect and accede to their requests (as per the Harmony With Nature code of honor).
