Summary
On short notice, the team was rapidly assembled to assist in the exfil of a client after the inclination of a negotiation gone south. The runners needed for such a task would need to be tough as nails, clever, and just insane enough to take on this wild ride.
Background
The Meet
The runners congregated around a certain location sent by the Johnson in the Puyallup district, discreet and desolate. The team was acquainted with each other in the brief period before the Johnson's arrival, some wary of certain reputations and looks. The team soon spotted an officer's Ares Humvee parked along next to a ditch with what seemed like a 'loose end' left for the carrion. A proud officer stood tall in the runner's presence; his attire displaying the rank of a Lieutenant Colonel.
The Plan
Coordination was relatively simple, revolving around crossing the border without raising any suspicion. Required runners to either conceal their loadouts or use certain 'aftermarket' gear provided by the Johnson. A rendezvous point was selected somewhere in a town where the runners would have to case and secure the VIP for extraction. It was imperative to keep the heat down as much as possible.
The Run
On the road, all events for ingress were not of note. The runner Huntress managed to masterfully navigate the group to the rendezvous point without any alarms being raised.
Casing the site, runners Europa and Huntress successfully scaled rooftops and eventually hid from a suspiciously paranoid watchguard with some visual enhancements (Emerald Brog #2).
In the exfil vehicle, runner Pacho deemed it useful to have a backup 'surprise' if the job went loud, synthesizing a demolition charge and coordinating with runner
Huntress for its location (It was forgotten and waiting the detonation signal).
After a significantly amount of waiting, the VIP was spotted rushing to the vehicle. A few runners recognized a certain controversial UCAS Military Officer.
Gunfire breaks out as the watchguards begin to fire at the VIP, runner Europa ensuring none hit their mark.
The runners quickly assembled in the exfil vehicle under fire and runner Korban successfully maneuvered into an escape without any immediate pursuers.
Enroute to the drop site for the VIP, the exfil vehicle caught the attention of not one, but two separate biker gangs; troll bikers entering from the North and bikers associated with the 'Ocho Muertos' entering from the South, both converging on the runners. Both biker gangs were armed with heavy munitions and explosives, damaging the exfil vehicle right from the start.
Runner Pacho, while blinded by his own smoke grenade, bluffs about his membership with the 'David Cartel' and claimed that he will hunt each and every one of 'Ocho Muertos' bikers down; they fell for it and began to scatter.
After an intense gunfight against the formidable Troll bikers, highlighting the marksmanship of runners Europa and Huntress and the Korban managing to keep a car on its last legs flying, the runners successfully evaded their pursuers and the exfil vehicle 'chugged' its way back with low single-digit boxes of health remaining.

With an experienced runner on our team and what seemed to be a competent driver we managed to do alright. I was forced to only use my sidearm as my primary weapon would not be welcome inside Fort Lewis which was our objective. Our enemies were... far more resilient than I anticipated. Though with the teams combined efforts we managed to make it safely to the point where our VIP was delivered. And as part of the pay, as you know, Horned Bear has been given the weaponry as payment.
