Overview

Eric Fiengold is a man that refuses to go away. 

He began his career with Yamatetsu working as Mr. Johnson.  Even then, Fiengold had a penchant for seeking at the best and brightest, and his runner teams had a phenomenal success rate and, as a result, a higher than average pay rate. The corporation soon moved him into a security management position and for several years, it appeared as though he could do no wrong as his career was on the upward trajectory of the century.  Something happened (it is rumored to involve a woman) to turn this charismatic man into a bitter, ego-maniacal, power-obsessed husk of his former self.  Soon his ambitions and a nasty tendency to cut the legs out from under his peers sounded the death knell for his career.  As Crash 2.0 shook up Yamatetsu and the company emerged as Evo, Fiengold’s enemies within the company saw a way to neutralize the threat he posed while still keeping him around (Fiengold knows where far too many of the bodies are buried, you see).  Now, past his prime and in the company of fewer friends than ever, the illustrious Fiengold found himself put out to pasture - he was “honored” with the position as the V. P. of Finance for Red Star Clinics.

Never one to give up or give in, Fiengold took a very active role in Red Star.  He put out the original directives to offer payment plans for organ transplants for those that could not afford it and It is through his efforts that implant repossession catches on among all the corps.  Understanding that money speaks in more ways than one, Fiengold starts to exploit the oversight in the implant repossession system and overhauls the Red Star Clinic personnel rosters to align to this new vision - profit by whatever means. His recruiting practices focused on creating accidents and twisting circumstances to disgrace some of the most brilliant minds in ‘ware research and genetic augmentations and then offers them redemption - for a heavy price.  Utilizing his mass of contacts and influence, Fiengold offered to help these poor unfortunate souls by either fixing or erasing their problems: in return, they would officially come to work for Red Star Clinics and be forced to moonlight as the repossession force in charge of all off the book debts.

Aspect	Description
Busy Man	Feingold is a very busy man. Getting him on the phone can be an exhausting effort. If loyalty is less than 5, roll a 1d6 to determine when the phone call will be returned - on a 1 or 2, 12 hours, 3 or 4, 3 hours, 5 or 6, fifteen minutes. Fiengold always picks up immediately for those of loyalty 5 or more.
Corporations	Fiengold has been in the corporate world for many years and knows all the major players well.
Yamatetsu/Evo	Fiengold has been with Evo since before it was Evo. He survived the reorganization post Crash 2.0 and has intimate knowledge on Yamatetsu and Evo activities past and present.
Red Star Clinics	As the V. P. of Finance, Fiengold is intimately aware of what Red Star is doing at all times. His career may be stalled, but his ambitions have not.
Court Systems	Fiengold has had to navigate the intricacies of the corporate courts as well as those of the UCAS in order to push through the legalization of implant repossession. He can provide you with invaluable insight into cutting through the red tape.
Legal Default Remedies	Fiengold has had a lot of influence on what is today known as a ‘legal default remedy’. While he is most specialized in how these laws relate to repossession, he is very knowledgeable and can bore you for hours with the information on every avenue of legal default remedy. Not that he will, however.
Puppet Master	Fiengold refuses to go away. He has a web of contacts within corporations and in UCAS politics and he often depends on them to get what he wants.
Seattle Politics	Seattle has been Fiengold’s home for many years, and as such, he has his hooks in most major politicians in the metroplex.
Shadow Community	He worked the first part of his career as a Johnson for Evo contracts in Seattle. He still reads the reports coming in about shadowrunners and knows who is who. Occasionally he still shows up as a Johnson if the run is that important to him.
Talent Acquisition	Fiengold has made a name for himself in Red Star by being able to recruit the best and brightest to his organization. He makes it his business to know who is at the top of their fields in case he wants to make them part of his empire.
'Ware Researchers	The man has his finger on the pulse of ‘ware research. Need to know who is developing the latest and greatest? He knows, and probably has a plan in place to get them to come to Red Star.
