Fintan is a character with a high sense of morality, so controversial happenings in the scene (metahuman trafficking of any kind, abuse, etc.) might prompt him will do everything he can in order to stop it, even if it derails the story.

Character Information

Summary

Tall, white skin, and green eyes. Usually wears street clothes. Wears his chestnut hair in a short ponytail. His mannerisms are calm, and polite, at first, and although he is cautious with making real friends in the shadows, those who befriend him know, that he is a very passionate, and friendly individual. he lived a fairly decent, and happy life. His connection to the spirit world is through music, so his summoning ritual consists of either playing his flute, or blues harp, or singing a tune. His accent and mannerisms make it clear, that he is not a Seattle native

His mentor spirit is the Sage. An old wise woman, who encourages the gathering, and sharing of knowledge freely.

Background

Daniel was born into a middle-class family, that put much weight into education, and knowledge. Fitzpatrick are an old family, that traces its lineage to thousands of years, with a lot of ancestors being Druids. As such, respect towards the spirit world, and nature was taught from at birth. Awakening is not uncommon, so when, at the age of twelve, Daniel woke up to him floating in his room, above his own bod. Already being taught about the astral, he was not scared, but rather fascinated by it. The entire family supported his wish, to study the subject, and so Daniel went to Trinity College and graduated in magical theory. During this time, he became interested in music, and found, that the soul of the music is a good way to connect to the spirits. Despite the academic teachings, and a brief introduction to the Hermetic way of thinking, he kept to his roots, and whenever he summoned spirits, he remained respectful towards them. This was the time he picked the nickname Fintan while messing around with numerous bands. One night, after performing in a pub, Daniel found himself in the hill of Uisneach, as an old woman in robes welcomed him. The two talked, and the young shaman swore fealty to his new mentor spirit, who called himself the Sage. She wished Fintan to learn all he can about the magical world, and pass it along to the next generation. He decided, that to do it, he needs more practical experience. He reached out to an old family friend in Seattle, who happened to be a fixer in the shadows. Fintan decided on this, because of the more varied the experience, the less stale the knowledge in the end. He said goodbyes to his parents, and siblings, and headed for Seattle. Once there, through his fixer, he managed to find an inconspicuous place to live. An old abandoned music studio, that was rumored to be haunted by a vengeful spirit. Fintan took out his flute and started playing in the studio, and the spirit of the soundman did appear but was far from hostile. Marcus, the wandering spirit made peace with himself with the help of the new tenant, but still occasionally pops his head up, and the two became friends.
