Summary
A client calls together a team to steal a valuable painting.
Background
The Frye Art Museum in Seattle hosts an exhibit on aboriginal cultural artifacts and paintings called "The Quests of the Dreamers", including the "Sisters Dreaming" by Gabriella Possum Nugnurrayi. It is based upon the story "Napaljarri-warnu Jukurrpa," given to the museum by Anthony Ngiyari, a contentious figure among the aboriginals and activists for giving away these culturally significant pieces. Multiple interested parties are interested in acquiring the "Sisters Dreaming" painting, either to return to Australia and to the aboriginal people, or in the case of one particular client... motives unknown thus far. Four runners - Wayfarer, Miut, Kamillion, and Rogozhin - answer the call to steal and deliver the piece before anyone else does.
The Meet
Meeting at a cafe called the "Waterlily", the four head inside to note that it is completely empty except for one woman - the client - in the middle of the room. The rest of the room appears as though all who were there got up and left in the middle of whatever it was they were doing. Full drinks, half-eaten food, turned aside chairs, and more set the scene. Added onto this, the woman appeared to have an unearthly and captivating presence. She greets them, inviting them to take seat, and in soon enough time they do. The client snaps her finger, summoning a middle-aged man who takes their orders before shuffling to the back. While waiting for the food, there is discussion which leads to Miut accepting a deal with the Johnson to eat sand for five thousand nuyen. After the group is done eating, and Miut is given a datachip for five thousand nuyen for upholding her end of the deal, the group begins to get briefed on the details of the heist. Unfortunately, the Johnson has relatively little information to give other than the very bare-bones explanation. The Frye Art Museum holds the painting, the group has a two week period to operate, and that there are potentially other groups looking to perform a heist of their own. Kamillion attempts to negotiate higher rewards, making a deal with the client that if the group does this squeaky clean, then they would get to choose either receiving two thousand more nuyen, or a secret of relevance. With that, it is up to the group to investigate into the museum and make a plan to get in.
The Plan
After calling up contacts, doing matrix searches, acquiring a forgery, posing as a reporter and a trash man, utilizing alchemy, and more... the plan is as such: Kamillion will disguise as an electrician to go through the front door, placing a data tap upon a motion sensor nearby the painting, and distracting guards present. Miut will loop the cameras, open up the backdoor for Wayfarer, and lastly disable the motion sensor when given the signal. Rogozhin will send rats in ahead of Wayfarer to serve as eyes and ears, and using Cinderellas he creates, keep the ward and any astral presences from picking up Wayfarer's signature. Wayfarer, once assured guards are distracted and hallways are relatively open to sneak through, will head inside to steal the painting as well as replace it with a forgery, then head back out. After that, it should be easy enough for them to make their escape.
The Run
As usual, only half the plan works, and the other half gets thrown out relatively quickly.
Kamillion, disguised as Eric Trasity the electrician, manages to get inside of the building easily enough. In the meantime, Miut is able to (somehow) successfully fool the spider in charge of matrix security into letting her (disguised icon to appear as an electrician) snoop around with relative ease. Wayfarer, utilizing a Cinderella that Rogozhin created, is able to easily slip through the ward and make his way to the back door, where he puts a datatap onto the maglock. Miut is able to quickly both loop the cameras as well as open the maglock, while Kamillion datataps the motion sensor. Sensing that the spider is starting to suspect her, Miut alerts the group that she won't be able to do much else before the jig is up, so Rogozhin sends his rats to not only scout out what they can, but also to have one make the ultimate sacrifice and eat the wires of the motion sensor.
Wayfarer uses this moment to quickly sneak inside, and upon the astral he notices a spirit guarding the painting. There is no way he can manage to sneak up to it and the painting, steal and replace, and make it out without being caught, so... he chooses to instead act with swiftness in mind. Within the span of three seconds, he quickly approaches the spirit and instantly kills it, informing the team of what just happened while he begins to switch out the painting with the forgery. At this time, Miut is caught by the spider and has to jump out of the matrix, taking jumpshock. She alerts the group of this.
Kamillion, seeing guards start to draw weapons and make way to the group's vehicle outside, puts on a distraction by falling down and feigning a heart attack, distracting a great deal of people who begin to call for a DocWagon. Wayfarer swiftly manages to run outside and make it back to the food truck, getting shot once but shrugging it off. Not eager to stay around any longer, Rogozhin begins to drive the food truck away as it gets shot at, Miut taking pot shots to try and dissuade guards from further action. A brief chase scene ensues, as Rogozhin is able to expertly dodge bullets, outrun the Knight Errants who arrive at the museum, and then hide away in a backalley so that heat can die down. Successful in escaping, the group (minus Kamillion) call up the Johnson and give her the news. She never expected them to actually do it silently the whole way through, but was very pleased with the show, indicating she was watching the whole time.
Aftermath
After being told where to deliver the painting, Wayfarer, Miut, and Rogozhin make their way, handing it over and receiving their credchips, with Wayfarer being given an extra one to give to Kamillion. Nodding, he calls Kamillion and sets up an extra meeting where he passes it over. The group disbands, retreating back to their corners of the night, though with the city slightly more aware of who most of them are...

Player After Action Reports (AARs)
Wayfarer - It was working well, until it wasn't. At the very least, I'm impressed by the others' skillsets... and Miut's ability to eat sand for money...
