Background

He was supposed to be glorious. He was supposed to be perfect.

Instead, here he is, wading in dark alleyways, bashing in heads and taking credsticks full of token pay. He's a nobody. He knows he's not a natural birth. Somewhere, out there, is his true father, a lead scientist. Memories of the first few years are so scarce and hazy, the scream of numbers around him as the entire host of the facility became a scrambled mess. He doesn't even exist anymore, not in the system or on the Matrix. He sees the Matrix for what it truly is. When he closes his eyes, he sees it all. When he sleeps, he sees it all. When he meditates, he sees it all. Nothing lets him escape from the vast, unknowable madness of it.

And here he is, wading in dark alleyways, bashing in heads and taking credsticks full of token pay. He knows a glimpse of the true nature of the Matrix. He has the capacity to be the perfect being. And he's stuck here. Unknown. Unseen. Unwanted. This isn't his fault, this is the fault of everyone else that ignores him. He never chose to be in the darkness. He tries to make accomplishments when he can, but it'll never be enough for the sheer effort he puts in. He should be idolized. He should be admired and world-renowned for his genius, but nobody knows of the things he dreams of. Nobody ever bothers to find out.

And he'll make it everyone's problem. Bitter, spiteful and carrying a grudge against the world, the shadowrunner known as Iron is forever stained by his unseen existence in the shadows.

Significant Things for Narrative

• Invisible Existence (Prototype Transhuman, Erased, Technomancer) - In the first years, his Emergence was violent and reached far and wide. He just wanted the pain to stop. Now, he no longer exists. That laboratory wouldn't hold answers even if he figured out where it is. All evidence is gone. All of it.
• Lord of Iron (Technoshaman, Architect Paragon) - His virtual kinetic abilities have developed to heights that cause lesser technomancers feel pain from his resonating presence. His greatest creation, the Iron Warriors, are an unstoppable force of devastation that pave the way for their leader regardless of any security spider's resistance.
• Iron Within (Analytical Mind, Brilliant Heuristics, Memory Palace, Mnemonic Vault, Photographic Memory, Speed Reading) - Iron's mind is honed to a mental fortress. It is as sharp as a razor and outperforms top of the line cyberdecks.
• Iron Without (Tough As Nails, Will To Live, Ronin, Resonant Programs Fork, Biofeedback & Hammer) - Against his foes, the Lord of Iron shows no mercy. A relentless, grinding assault besieges even the most stalwart of opposition down to dust.
• Bitter Incarnate (Nerdrage, Alpha Junkie, Did You Just Call Me Dumb?) - Iron has a temper, one that flares easily if someone tries to shove him aside or ignore him, or worse yet, insult him. He is the perfect being. How dare anyone mock him?

The Iron Warriors

"You will win this war for our lord or die trying!"

Initially discovered in the Resonance Realm known as The Factory, Iron began work on a Resonant sprite that he named the Godless Logic Engine.
It was to be a complex amalgamation of mathematics, predictive algorithms and supercomputer operating system runtimes that he would use to
calculate the best possible action for any possible circumstance. In other words, not to divine but calculate futures. Over time, however, he
concluded that no amount of computational power that he has access to could match the unpredictability of an entire universe of variables.

Instead, he turned the vast framework that he'd built into a tool of war, as much as the waste of resources infuriated him. Iron despises
senseless slaughter, but he is more than aware that little will be given to him without conflict. The Lord of Iron compiled many small yet
fierce sprites, marking down the prime numbers acting as the foundation of their structure and releasing them from his direct control. One by
one, he drew them back and stitched them into the larger framework of the Godless Logic Engine. Over time these sprites coalesced and merged,
forming connective pathways and handshake protocols among each other to create an emergent sprite worthy of Iron's admiration. Individual traits
were erased and all were made uniform, a singular sprite composed of hundreds of voices. He has never been more proud of his handiwork.

Now complete and registered with his technoshamanic abilities, Iron commands the Iron Warriors legion, filled to the brim with Matrix decryption
protocols of nuclear potency. Where-ever his warriors concentrate their fire, none survive. Tactical acumen and utilizing the legion's supportive
abilities to their greatest extent, Iron is a force of nature on the Matrix that has the capacity to threaten even a DemiGOD in a direct confrontation.
The Iron Warriors themselves have a multitude of programmed personality traits despite lacking true sapience. They are brutal industrialism incarnate,
showing no remorse for the individual. Each member of the sprite legion works for the cause, sacrificing all that they have to achieve their objective.

Warriors are worked to the bone and no ground is given in the name of comfort. In this, they reflect their lord who refuses to compromise on his commitments.
They are iron within, minds clad in steely willpower and the determination to crush all opposition, to quash all doubt and to bear no mercy to the enemy.
They are iron without, protected by incomprehensible defensive algorithms and firewall encryptions, wielding weaponry that rends entire Matrix hosts apart.
