Overview

Manmeet Singh is a cheerful and clever investment banker with Brackhaven Investments in the Seattle Metroplex. While he is blissfully ignorant of the shadowrunners in his social circle he's not at all unfamiliar with shadowy crimes of the white collar variety. Assuming that illicit nuyen comes from backroom deals and insider trading he's more than happy to create financial instruments and lend his know-how to shadowrunners who are careful enough to keep their dark deeds from Manmeet.

Aspect	Description
Blissfully Unaware	If Manmeet finds out you are a shadowrunner, immediately make a Test of Loyalty. If you fail the Test of Loyalty, they will think you are a terrorist, burn you, and contact law enforcement. If you succeed in a Test of Loyalty they will be willing to listen to you explain yourself and even help you leave the runner life. You may be able to convince them to associate with the shadows. Contact a GM or Thematics if this happens as it may involve the removal of that tag.
Date Night	The GM rolls a 1D6 in secret. If the roll is a one, Manmeet will not answer the call immediately. When he calls you later, he'll explain that he and Rohit were out on a date.
The Market is Gray	Manmeet always knows someone on the market looking to buy/sell and is willing to overlook the fact that it might have fallen off the back of a truck or been stamped in a counterfitters nanofab. Manmeet can acquire or fence goods but only those with or without restrictions. Manmeet won't deal in gear rated Forbidden and even suggesting it might set off a Test of Loyalty (Blissfully Unaware.)
The Consequence of my SIN	Manmeet knows that, sometimes, purchases need to be made through unofficial channels. Maybe you need to rent a new place for your brother who is straight out of BTL Detox and you don't want your partner to find out (she's never liked him!) Or maybe you need to hide some nuyen by tying it up in properties out of the reach of your ex-partner's scheming lawyer. No matter the reason, Manmeet can be convinced to use their real honest-to-god SIN to put purchases and agreements under their name. If things turn belly up (apartment is busted by Knight Errant as a betameth lab, a car in his name is linked to a high-profile crime, et cetera) a Test of Loyalty is necessary to keep the contact.
Money Changer in the Temple	Manmeet knows that money is money: it just needs to be in the right hands to get its full value. Manmeet will exchange currencies and corporate scrip at market rates, no questions asked. That's what friends are for, right?
Insider Trading	Manmeet knows all sorts of dirty secrets in the corporate finance world, especially in Seattle. He's a gossip, especially if you get a few drinks in him.
Hopeless Romantic	Manmeet truly believes in the good in all people, in the power of love, and the perseverance of light in the face of overwhelming darkness. If Manmeet discovers a runner's true nature and they pass the Test of Loyalty the bonus from the Candle in the Darkness positive quality is 3 instead of 2, if they have the quality.
