Summary
Aidan O' Leary aka Jazz due to various situations involving the Finnigan and Shotozumi-gumi wants the runners to infiltrate a Yakuza Princesses' birthday party and deliver a gift and a warning to her father. This is mostly to calm down some of the tensions between the two families.
Background
The events of Of Gangsters and Dollhouses and Of Gangsters and Cleaners have the Finnigans and Shotozumi-gumi in a state of heightened tension due to several of their members ending up dead. Jazz doesn't want this situation to continue escalating since it might mess up his little enjoyable retirement at the Ace of Spades.
The Meet
Jazz invited the runners to meet him at his lounge bar to talk things over. He served him a drink as he went over the basics of the job, that he wanted to remind the Yakuza crew leader of what he had to lose if the situation escalated further. In addition to a gift of good will so that Goro Tanaka would not be as angry. Jazz told the runners that Ren Tanaka was the birthday girl and Goro was the father. He gave the runners a well carved puzzle box in a mahogany carrying case to give to Ren. Promising that it only had a letter and nuyen.
The Plan
RC-45 and Jenny prepared for the infiltration. Jenny prepped up on her Japanese mannerisms and tea ceremony etiquette as well as acquiring much more thoughtful gifts than the J had provided for Ren. RC-45 hacked into the host of the establishment that the business hosting the birthday party had and put in Aiko Arasaki as a guest.
The Run
When it came to be the day of the party, Jenny with all of the former preparation infiltrated fairly easily into the party after RC-45 dropped her off. Partially due to the lack of weapons as well as general chauvinism on the part of most of the guards. Believing that a small humble girl couldn't possibly be a threat. She delivers the gift as well as a Empress Hitomi doll and some flowers. Jenny then blends into the tea ceremony and later takes part in some of the children's games to show some respect to the birthday girl Ren. Ren is quite taken with Jenny's knowledge of Samurai Princess Ayumi as well as the encouragement that Ren could do the same. Ren gives her a commcode so they can talk later and Jenny as Aiko gives her one with a few numbers changed to see if Ren can figure it out.
Aftermath
Gift delivered, Yakuza crew leader Goro warned and not overly pissed off at either the Finnigan Family or the runners. Jazz and the Finnigan Family happy that their warehouses won't be messed with by Yakuza and Yakuza hired runners as much.

First time with the Finnigans on an actual job. Met RC-45 - acted like a real professional. Nice to expand who you know, especially for a rookie like me. I liked the J handled things politely even though he certainly made his point. The event itself... I think I did okay, but only time will tell. Hope Ren liked that Empress Hitomi doll. She struck me as so bright. May her father's business not hurt her.
