Overview
Jeannie Stilray, born into the small yet esteemed House Stilray, emerged as a striking figure within the intricate tapestry of the high society in Tir na nÓg. With porcelain features and an ageless countenance, she embodied the essence of her elven heritage. Raised amidst the political machinations of the Tir Government, Jeannie's early life was steeped in the grandeur and etiquette of elven nobility. Yet, beneath the facade of pious elegance and adherence to the traditions of her house, Jeannie harbored a secret.
Her ties to House Stilray did not position her as a future leader, but Jeannie wielded her intelligence and cunning with finesse. The allure of the corporate court drew her attention, and she skillfully intertwined the interests of House Stilray with the power dynamics of Telestrian and the Tir na nÓg government. An envoy in Seattle, she navigated the web of corporate alliances and rivalries, adept at cleaning up messes and forging connections that benefited her house.
However, behind the meticulously crafted facade of a devoted noble, Jeannie harbored a clandestine passion that veered sharply from the expected decorum. Beneath the moonlit nights of Tir na nÓg, she reveled in the pulsating beats of hardcore underground raves. The dimly lit dancefloors became her sanctuary, a place to shed the weight of her responsibilities, and to let the bass drown out the whispers of political intrigue. In the chaotic swirl of neon lights and frenetic music, Jeannie found solace, an escape from the expectations that bound her.
Her love for the underground raves served as a pressure valve for the anxieties that accompanied her intricate dance in the political arena. Behind closed doors, she shed the constraints of elven nobility and embraced the freedom of the dancefloor, a realm where titles and lineage held no sway. The dichotomy of her existence, the poised diplomat and the fervent raver, painted Jeannie Stilray as a complex figure, balancing on the tightrope between tradition and rebellion.
Yet Jeannie Stilray led a dual natured lifestyle; y day, she adorned herself in the regal garments of her elven heritage, navigating the corridors of power with a careful balance between caution and calculated diplomacy. The intricacies of the Fae court remained closely guarded, a secret whispered only to the shadows. She wore her elven nobility like armor, shielding her true nature from the prying eyes of both the Fae and the mortal world. And by night, she stole herself away to the thrumming underground nightclub scene, throwing her hair back and dancing away, engaging in sinister and macabre games and passions while under the influences if she could find any that affected her.
Despite her outward poise, Jeannie's nights were haunted by restless dreams, an unease that accompanied the thought of returning to the stifling courts of the Fae Realm. The constricting traditions and stifling formality of her kin lingered in the shadows of her subconscious, a specter that threatened to disrupt the delicate balance she maintained.
Jeannie yearned for the vibrancy of the human world, craving the tangible connections she had forged like precious threads in the tapestry of her life. The allure of earthly pleasures, from the feel of fabric against her skin to the camaraderie found in the community and the ecstasy induced by the substances she discreetly embraced, anchored her firmly to the mortal realm. It was in these tangible, earthly delights that she discovered a respite from the weight of her Fae obligations.
GM Notes
Please check out these tips Arch made for running Seelie Fae. These apply to Jeannie. As well, please consider the following:
- Jeannie can not easily be coerced, as her primary skill set would be comparable to a face.
- Jeannie can usually be found at the Stairway to Heaven between the hours of 10 PM to 3 AM.
- Jeannie has no personal grudges and views everything strictly business. That being said, she does have a heart somewhere in there, and is not above apologizing. She'll never say "I'm sorry", instead she'll try to offer money or physical items as an apology.

Seelie and Unseelie Courts | Being associated with the Seelie Fae, she views herself and the Unseelie not as enemies but just "two halves of the same coin." She still has much info about the other Fae, and will both give and take info related to the Unseelie in Seattle that she so vehemently wishes to purge. After all, Seattle belongs to her. |
