Background
"... so you see, growing up in the barrens isn't all bad. Look at me, I got my foot in the door doing this work just by knowing the area! You could do the same thing, you know. Well, better get going~!" The driver casually reached over the steering wheel to turn on an obnoxious number of ride-sharing AR signs and retrieve his Ares alpha. Producing an inhaler from his pocket, he took a puff and politely offered it to his lone passenger.
The young woman shook her head and clutched her suitcase to her chest, visibly frightened.
He coughed. "Yeah, better that you don't start. Hey, just out of professional guilt, normally I have the more valuable passengers ride in the back, but your parents got the cheap shared rate for the trip into the city, so I gotta do this extraction real quick." He shifted the car into gear and screamed around the corner. "It's on the way, y'know. Need the back seats open so they can climb in faster. Just uhh..."
The car rocketed over a curb and through an empty lot, barreling towards the sounds of gunfire. "Hold that suitcase close, it should be able to stop a bullet or two. And when we get closer to the border and get you into the compartment, don't sniff any of the white powder in there with you. Easy! Easy easy! Sound good? Good! Great!"
The driver rolled down the window and slammed on the brakes, bashing his passenger's head against her luggage before she could answer.
An elf hauling a man by the neck of his armor raises a pistol at him. "Who the fuck are you?"
"I'm your Uber, idiot! You called me! Now get your asses in before I charge a waiting fee!" Uber waved his alpha out the window, immediately shifting to a friendly, if jittery, tone. "There's jazz and water in the back pockets if you want it. Oh, and the trauma patch is in the center console. We'll talk about the cleaning fees in a few minutes."
Narrative Significant Qualities
Positive
Dealer Connection (Groundcraft) - Uber is bad about taking unpaid work for chummy people, but doing this enough times has resulted in a lot of leverage with chop shops and car importers throughout the city.
Negative
Addiction (Moderate) (Cram) - While he claims to be trying to kick the habit, Uber is usually on some sort of upper, and that upper is usually cram. After a history with bad batches and growing tired of drug dealers, he took to cooking his own. He does special requests too, but only in small batches and only for people he knows.
Poor Self Control (Thrill Seeker) - Just because you can stunt on someone in the middle of a car chase doesn't mean that you should. Also, the backup plan is always a rolling gun battle, and the egress route is "just drive faster."
Social Stress (Old Crew or Wilderness) - As the last surviving member of his coyote team, Uber is dealing with survivor's guilt and is also on edge when dealing with personnel smuggling operations.
Distinctive Style - Bubbly, effeminate, excitable, flashy, and twitchy. Prone to occasional bouts of acting extremely extra. Keeps a candy bowl in the car, just make sure you don't grab something with molly in it.
