Character Information
Summary
An anti-social amateur rigger, that could never afford the drones he wanted on a pizza boy's salary...that is until he hit it big on the lottery. A couple drones, a nice car, and a few nights of good fun and he was back to work in no time.
Goals
To permanently retire to a life of luxury, where he can troll on the matrix in peace.
Buy the pizza company he's currently employed by so he can fire his manager.
Make his sparkly new car a truly all terrain vehicle.
Background
Weevil grew up in a somewhat typical lower class home... divorced parents, only child, trashy apartment and just enough cheap food to not starve. He often avoided making friends in school due to his non-existent personality and slightly ghoulish demeanor, so ended up tinkering with machines and gadgets by himself in his spare time. He eventually dropped out of school, got a part time job, and spent his time doing what he loved...tinkering and inventing. One day he ended up winning the lottery, so he did the obvious thing. He quit his job, bought a bunch of drones, an amazing car, and a singular unforgettable night on the town...that he promptly forgot due to the insane amount of various substances he ended up consuming.
Waking up the next day, realizing he had blown most of his winnings...he used the remainder to help his mother pay off her debts so she could relax a little bit.
Returning to work the following week was an uneventful affair, as honestly no one really knew he was gone in the first place. He delivered pizzas for a few more months before his mother got terminally sick and tragically passed away.
Not wanting his entire life to be mediocrity, Weevil turned to Shadow Running so he can either make it big and retire...or go out quickly and have some fun along the way.
Narrative Significant Qualities
Positive
Born Rich - Weevil won a small fortune on the lottery and didn't really keep it a secret...though not many people cared.
Speed Demon and Steely Eyed Wheelman - Spending his youth tinkering with machines and recklessly piloting drones and cars has given him a bit of an edge behind the wheel.
Negative
Day Job (10 hrs) - Weevil spends about 10 hours a week working at a local pizza place, it's the only hours they're willing to give him after he came back.
Big Baby - Weevil has avoided confrontation his entire life, and whenever it came to the physical bullying he was subjected to by his peers, he could never take a punch.
Basement Dweller - Being a loner has his benefits, as Weevil knows...but it also has its downsides. Spending his life isolated from other people has taken its toll on his confidence.
Nerdrage - Not being able to handle IRL situations well, whenever Weevil feels slighted he'll pretend it doesn't bother him...until gets back to the comfort of his car and log into the matrix to get some well deserved payback.
