Character Information
Summary
The suns to bright, the airs to fresh and to top it off there are people outside, so I'll stay here in this nice dark corner of my van. I can hack it from here if I can't that's your problem find a way round it.
Hates the outside, the matrix is better than reality.
Hacker that stays out the way, preferably as far away from the action as he can.
Stubborn, Stuck up, and those are his good qualities.
Goals
Daltons main driving factor is to either prove he is the best VR Decker, or at least on the way to becoming the best. While leaking the corruption of the corporations to the general population.
Background
Dalton hated school. The subjects were dull and the teachers were duller. By the time he'd left kindergarten he was sick of being to slow down for the other kids or being lectured for being disruptive, so he did the only thing that made sense to him... He disabled AR restrictions for himself in class and spent the next few years slacking off watching sci-fi trids, browsing BBS boards and as he started to get older, experimenting with his own code. Naturally his grades were solid A's through a mixture of critical thinking and ability to change his grades at will... by the time Dalton left high school he had his pick of colleges, so he dropped out of the most prestigious college in Seattle as again, he quickly found the content and faculty to be too basic to be of any use to him.
Parental influences didn't tempter his delinquencies either, his father was a blue collar wage slave who spent more time slacking off than lifting crates, and his mother made the real money cracking corporate paydata for the highest bidder. Both showed him little more than apathy, a trait he took and turned back on the whole world. Dalton know's he's exceptional, but to him that just means the rest of the world is mundane. In Dalton's mind, the only escape from the mind numbing crawl of existence is HOTSIM.
Only deep within the matrix is information exchanged at a pace that keeps up with him, so that's where he truly lives... retreating back to reality only long enough to take care of his earthly needs. It's not unheard of for Dalton to hook himself up with soyprotein on drip and spend a week in hotsim, emerging only to change the drip and if his team are lucky to wash his greasy ginger hair.

Appearance
Dalton appears much like any 1990s grunge throwback child you would expect except hes in his mid 30s and his band shirts and baggy jeans are at least 2 weeks unwashed. Food crumbs and cigarette ash make a thin layer over his flannel shirt. Long grease filled ginger hair and stubble on his face perhaps the only beard he can grow.
Clothing
Cheap baggy ripped jeans, neo-classical 'new metal' band top, a flannel shirt, and RV gloves.
Matrix Persona
Appears as himself.
