Summary
Or'zet Underground continues to build a roster of exceptional, and in some cases exceptionally weird talent. Lil' Glowie is definitely no exception.
Background
Salubrious Krimp, Aka Lil' Glowie is a Glow City Ork, Kalanir Worshipper and Radiation Sponge. He also happens to sell drugs across 8 blocks of Glow City for the Rusted Stilletos and host the occasional block party and freestyle orksploitation throwdown. The gang was hired to bring him out of the glow and in for an interview.
The Meet
Vic met the team at The Daze, white noise generator already in place. Introduced himself to the folks he hasn't met, explained the situation offered everyone a beer and handed them the ARO with client images, some videos of him rapping and laid out an offer of base pay and "Keep what you can from this sweetener" 30K in Nuyen credits.
The Plan
Track the guy down and see what he wants.
The Run
Pasiphae reached out to Thresher (via I know a guy) a Rusty Stilletos Lt. who was in charge of recruitment and training, and found out some basic info on Glowie and where to find him. Thunder narrowed it down with a local touristville spirit of man that struggled with the notion of radiation until Thunder sated his fears with some spiritual energy (a point of karma) and had him find the target via search.
The team went straight at it with a little prep, driving into glow city and stashing the car when the radiation and local Stilletos looked a bit too dangerous and heading the rest of the way on foot. A combination of all trogs, calling ahead, and raw muscle allowed out gang to walk through the neighborhood even while struggling slightly with the effects of the intense radiation.
Eventually they would find Lil' Glowie hosting a freestyle rap battle and neighborhood party and as they walked up to interrupt the festivities Thunder cast a radiation shield and Glowie felt the magic, which lead to a slightly calmer conversation than may have been had otherwise.
The gang explained to Glowie he was getting called up for an interview for a shot at real fame with orksploitation rap and had a shot at being on stage at Or'zet Underground. Glowie quickly agreed, but only on the condition that the gang could throw down with his crew.
Throw down they did, everyone was required to do at least 2 drugs, Pasiphae went off and did 4. After a series of bad interactions, overdoses, shakes, and close calls in a level 6 Radioactive Background Count that gang had partied hard enough to impress Glowie who agreed to come do the meeting if they could get him a fast car and a bunch of guns. When they aquired Pasiphea's speed 5 car he announced "lets do a drive by!" and the gang quickly moved him on to worse, and more wholesome, pursuits.
Thunder immediately cast influence as Shredder suggested they wing-suit her tied to a car at high speeds, and Thresher suggested to Glowie "Doesn't that sound awesome, instead of shooting some guys on the way to your big meeting?" Glowie just barely failed to resist and decided he would, in fact, try vehicle paragliding.
Just before taking off Thresher OD's again on Kamikaze due to drug interactions and does the parasailing nearly dead. Thunder has the sense to Summon a Task Spirit with enough free fall skill to assist Glowie doing the drop as a team. They do glid along the streets of Redmond anchored to the car briefly before landing roughly but safely after the stunt.
The gang then escorted Glowie to a Bar Elmo was currently at for the meeting and a frantic Elmo, realizing that Glowie was a radiation sponge, fled the bar with his new project piece in tow after thanking the team.
Aftermath
Thresher is hooked on Novacoke, a Rusted Stilleto Lt. Has eyes for a Minotaur, and the Rusted Stilletos may have just lost a street dealer and gained a star.
